Comporta travel guide and discussion

We booked a day in Evora with Fernando, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Fernando is more than just a chauffeur—he’s part historian, part sociologist, offering deep insights into Portugal’s past and present. He has an amazing ability to tune into his guests’ interests and adjust the itinerary, either on the spot or in advance, to suit them perfectly. Our day included an unplanned stop at Setubal, where we visited the ancient hilltop fort of Sao Filipe. The fort provided breathtaking views of the Comporta beaches and the ocean—a hidden gem we wouldn’t have discovered without Fernando. We highly recommend spending at least a day or more with him!

We hired Vitor for a transfer from Comporta to Porto, stopping in Obidos and Coimbra along the way. His extensive knowledge of Portugal, and beyond, was evident as he shared invaluable tips and insights during our journey. With a fascinating background, including work with the Lisbon city government and meeting multiple US Presidents, Vitor is truly one of a kind. His service was exceptional, and we highly recommend him! We’ll undoubtedly use his services again when we return to the area.
