Just a light holiday⛱️ I didn't have high expectations for the trip to Boracay, as the islands in Southeast Asia are quite similar, and since there were no new major hotels on Boracay, I had to choose Shangri-La, thinking it would be a peaceful vacation with the family. The facilities show their age, but Shangri-La maintains them very well, and the service, restaurants, and spa are all quite good (though the Mediterranean restaurant was a bit lacking). It was beautiful! It’s something you don’t see by the usual beaches of Boracay. They’re developing the area and I see potential. It is near the private beach of Belmont Hotel and they also have stalls there that sells souvenirs, food, and drinks. Plus they also have lounges by the beach where you can sit, or lay down and relax. Nice view for picture taking. I would recommend going on the afternoon since photos will be against the light if you visit here in the morning. #boracaytrip

It was a pleasure to have brunch at the quieter side of the island and this place had the perfect brekky menu. They have the Filipino silogs as well as international brunch meals, all reasonably priced. I ordered eggs bene that came with a fresh side salad. You can choose to have it with ham or bacon. The hollandaise was thicker than usual, but it was tasty nonetheless. I also ordered grilled cheese with potato chips. I must say that their bread here was very fluffy and buttery (tasted like milk bread or pancake). The iced cafe americano was good and not acidic. Be smitten by their resident dogs, Toffee and Cookie. The staff were very hospitable and attentive. #boracaytrip

#boracaytrip Hiked up the hill to explore and found this wetland. It is a beautiful conservation park with varietes of unique flora and fauna which can be found only in the Philippines. While exploring this area have to take care as the wild grass became long although the pathway is still visible but be careful with random insects and bugs. Highly recommend for great views of the island forests. A different experience beyond the beaches

#boracaytrip This is a very popular spot for tourists and locals especially those who are Catholics. It has got a statue of Virgin Mary on top of the rocks where people offer their prayers. Since this is an iconic landmark in Boracay, everyone wants to take photos with it as a background so sometimes it can get crowded. This is located near station 1 of the white beach so if your accommodation is at station 3 then this is around three or four kilometers walk. Really depends on where you are wether station 1 2 and 3. Hopping onto a motorcycle is convenient if you are not fond of walking. Finally arrived at Philippines - Boracay Island. My summer has returned. The most beautiful sunset to see in a lifetime. Boracay's unique sunset sail ⛵

To get here, from the main Boracay beach, you have to ride the e-trike going to the port of the speed boats. It was a very quick travel. It only took maybe under a minute to get there. Upon arriving, there's a van to get you to the main resort. We first had the ATV Ride. Before going to start, they will orient you on how to operate the ATV. It was really a rough track so you really need a good control on your hands. After the ATV, we took a fresh sip of coconut water. Then we had the kayak. Lastly we dipped into the hot kawa. There are other things to do here. There's restaurant in case you feel hungry, there's zip line and cliff jumping.#mytripvlog #tripblazers #beachlife

Crystal Cove Island is a tropical and paradisiac island with a with laid-back vibe in Boracay. Due to its location, you need a boat ride from Boracay to get there. The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours. You can also stay longer if you are planning to do some sunbathing and snorkleing. There are two small caves to explore you get to get some splashes and it is relaxing to hear the sound of the waves approaching to the caves. The island have great view especially for picture taking.
