Thousands of floating lights at Loy Krathong

Loy Krathong is an important festivity in Thailand. This festival is celebrated to thank the Goddess of water for abundance and prosperity. The name itself can be translated as "floating ritual lamp or vessel (basket)". Have you seen thousands of people floating beautiful lamps on to the sky? Like the one in the animation Tangled? This is it. My birthday is in November and i wanted it to be magical so once i booked a trip to Bangkok for Loy Krathong. It was the most beautiful festivity i have ever seen. Thousands of lamps were on sale and being released to float in the sky..soon these thousands of lamps lot up the sky like firelies. So beautiful, the first time i saw i was crying for happiness. Loy Krathong is celebrated nationwide as it is a very significant event in Thailand. So be just anywhere in Thailand and you get to see this mesmerizing, unforgettable, romantic event. You will not regret it.
