This time I came to Snow Valley Ski Resort to experience the beauty of Canada's snow-capped mountains. As soon as I got off the car, I saw a string of towering pine trees, under the shadow of the trees was a vast expanse of pure white snow, the sound of footsteps pressed on the snow to make small broken sounds, the surroundings in the breath felt fresh and cool! What attracts me most about Snow Valley, besides the adrenaline soaring while skiing, is the tranquility of an ice and snow world. The scenery of the snowy valley on a sunny day is unbeatable, looking at the snowy peaks with the blue sky from a distance, mixed with the lush green of the pine trees, all worries are temporarily thrown away. If you like to take pictures, we recommend looking down from the highest point of the snow trail. 👟 Practical Tips - Remember to bring cold-proof clothing, especially gloves and a hat, and don’t take the cold wind lightly no matter what the weather, the Canadian winter season is no joke. - Wear waterproof shoes so your feet won't get wet when you step on the snow. - As the venue's daily opening hours change depending on holidays or weekends, it is best to check online before departure to avoid a wasted trip. - Ski lessons can be booked in advance, if it’s your first time playing in the snow, the instructors on site are very patient and not afraid of not learning. - There is a place to rest and drink hot chocolate on site. Ski resorts are more than just sports, for me it’s a way to get away from the hustle and bustle, slow down, and connect with nature. There is a unique tranquility in Edmonton in winter.
