Spending a day in Grenoble felt like stepping into a hidden paradise between the mountains. One of the most unforgettable moments was riding the iconic “Bubbles” — the cable cars that glide across the Isère River, offering a panoramic view of the city cradled by peaks. As the cabins rose higher, the city slowly shrank beneath me, revealing layers of rooftops, green patches, and winding rivers. At the top of the Bastille hill, I was met with a breathtaking view: snow-capped mountains bathed in sunlight, standing still and silent. The sunlight danced on the icy peaks, making them shimmer against the blue sky. It felt surreal, almost like time had paused. There was a peaceful stillness in the air, a kind of quiet beauty that made me forget the world below. Walking along the old stone paths, with crisp mountain air and birdsong as my soundtrack, I felt completely at ease.
