Hitchin Lavenda farm

The end of July is the season when lavender blooms. Hitchin Lavender Farm is located in Hertfordshire, covering an area of ​​12 acres. There is a granary built in the 17th century on the farm, which sells lavender products, different bouquets and various souvenirs for sale. The farm is owned and operated by Tim Hunter and Maria Noel Castro. The Hunter family has been farmers for five generations and have been farming on Caldwell Farm for over 120 years, the home of Hitchin Lavender. In the 1890s, the family moved the farm to Hertfordshire, closer to London and the railway. The farm started growing lavender in 2000.
