A Nice Fishing Village

Tai O Fishing Village is a picturesque and popular tourist destination located on the western side of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. It's easy to come here, you can take the ferry from Central Pier number 6 to Mui Wo, then take bus number 1, or you can take Mrt to Tung Chung station, then take bus number 11. It attracts numerous visitors to spend their day, like boat rides along the waterway in the village, to have the opportunity to experience the most authentic flavours of Hong Kong's fishing village. Strolling around the Tai O market, savouring the delicious local delicacies being sold by the locals, watching the residents drying their seafood in the sun. Visit the most "Instagrammable" landmark, that is the rope-drawn ferry bridge of Tai O, maybe you are lucky enough to watch the bridge being raised for bigger boat to the harbour.
