Traveling with Kids in Binzhou and Zibo! A 4-Day Itinerary That’s Super Worry-Free

Day 01 Qingdao - Weifang - Binzhou . 🚗 Itinerary: Depart at 9 AM, have an authentic 🌯 Lao Weixian Chaotian Pot lunch in Weifang to recharge, then continue on. Arrive in Binzhou before 2 PM, so the kids won’t get tired~ . 🏨 Accommodation Tip: Recommended "Binzhou Bohai International Neighborhood Wild Luxury Hotel," right next to Bohai International. Perfectly close for evening strolls, dining, and taking the kids out, saving the hassle of rushing! . 🍽️ Dinner: Try the beef tendon noodles at Bohai International, absolutely delicious and affordable, perfect for kids~ . Ps: Bohai International has plenty of kid-friendly play facilities like mini trains and ring toss games, plus lots of street food stalls nearby, so you can enjoy both playing with the kids and eating! Day 02 Boxing County, Binzhou . 📍 Spot to Visit: Dayuzhang Forest Park, a hidden gem with free admission, perfect for kids! About 20 km from Bohai International, very convenient by car~ . 🌿 Activities: The park is huge, featuring a dedicated 🛝 non-powered playground where kids can play all afternoon! There are also areas for tent camping and fishing, so parents can relax too~ . Ps: We heard there are alpacas and squirrels in the park, but unfortunately, we didn’t find them. Keep an eye out if you go~ Day 03 Huimin County, Binzhou - Zibo . 📍 First Stop: Sun Tzu’s Art of War City, about 50 km from the hotel. The 🏮 South Gate is the main entrance, very grand and great for photos! . 📖 Experience: The scenic area has 15 courtyards, each showcasing the Thirty-Six Stratagems. It takes about 2 hours to tour and is educational for kids~ . 🌃 Side Note: There was a drone show at night, but we went straight to Zibo for barbecue because you can’t miss “Jin Zi Gan Kao” (rush to Zibo for BBQ)! . 📍 Second Stop: Zibo Ceramic and Glass Museum, free but requires advance reservation. A limited number of tickets are released on the hour and half-hour, so be sure to watch for them in advance~ . 🍢 Dinner: Must have Zibo barbecue! Small pancakes wrapped with meat and scallions, so fragrant it’s intoxicating, and the kids loved it! Day 04 Zibo - Qingdao . 📍 Spot to Visit: Haidai Tower. Arrive before 9 AM; all 10 parking lots fill up quickly. It’s recommended to take a taxi or arrive early, or parking will be a huge hassle~ . 🚗 Return Trip: Spend the morning briefly touring Haidai Tower, then pack up and head back to Qingdao in the afternoon, ending the trip on a relaxed note~
