Saint James Paris, the dream mansion.

A hotel that amazed me so much, it even felt unreal. A long time ago, I knew about her exaggerated decoration, but only after living in it myself did I understand the dreamlike charm. Hotel Saint James Built in 1892, this private hotel and club with only 50 rooms is a member of Relais & Chateaux: an alliance known for its boutique hotels and excellent dining, with the majority of Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and America being members. This hotel was originally a research club of the French Academy and also the first landing site of hot air balloons in Paris, specializing in training young explorers. Today, the hotel owner still upholds the spirit of exploration. The main building is a neoclassical mansion. The hall is already mesmerizing, with black and white striped giant domes and stairs, a bloody red carpet and sofa, and even more enchanting under the warm fire. Even the receptionists are dressed in waistcoats and have stylishly curled mustaches. 50 rooms are all different. The Junior Suite that I stayed in had a white theme, with lovely French windows that opened up to the hotel's private courtyard. It felt like home with all the furniture being vintage style, yet with a slight modern touch. It truly is an artistic hotel. The bath products were from Guerlain, and the vintage bottles were a perfect match for this place. The top floor suites are equipped with bright sunrooms. The largest suite is slightly mediocre, but there is a small villa at the entrance that is very exciting. Exquisite living room and bedroom, as well as a dedicated spa room. Public areas are so charming. The spiral staircase is themed around hot air balloons.
