The St. Regis Lhasa｜Stay at the same hotel as Queen Faye Wong, even those with altitude sickness can relax with peace of mind

On this trip to Lhasa, I decisively chose the St. Regis Hotel. What impressed me most was its 24-hour medical room, which gave me, anxious about altitude sickness, a reassuring sense of security. It’s especially suitable for first-time visitors to Tibet who worry about physical discomfort! Although the hotel opened in 2010, it is very well maintained and shows no signs of aging. The rooms are very spacious, and the entire hotel is equipped with an oxygen supply system, so you can sleep comfortably even on the plateau. Coinciding with the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel thoughtfully provided customized mooncakes 🥮, instantly creating a warm and heartfelt sense of ceremony. For someone like me who isn’t used to Tibetan cuisine, the hotel’s breakfast was truly a “lifesaver,” with a wide variety of dishes that suited my taste. The bar on the 6th floor is a hidden gem where you can enjoy a drink, sit quietly with tea, and admire the stunning view of the Potala Palace. If only this aspect could be improved, it would be absolutely perfect!
