#AprilGoodDestinations2025 The Longenecker horticultural Gardene, part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Botanical Garden, is a living encyclopedia of woody plants. The garden is home to more than 2,500 species of plants and is Wisconsin's premier botanical garden for hardy woody, shrub and vine plants. Currently on display are several varieties of lilac and crabapple, as well as different species of viburnum and conifers, in addition to more than 500 species of native flora.
