Malacca TGIF (4D3N)

Getting There - Starmart Coach It is about 3 hours ride from Singapore to Malacca, the Starmart coach typically cost $25 SGD. The return trip is fairly cheap at about $8. Malacca now have a central bus ticket terminal, thus is very convenient to hop to another state or journey back home. Attractions - Jonker Street, Churchs, Shore Sky Observation Deck Going to Malacca definitely have to go on Friday, as the Jonker Street Night Market opens on Friday to Sunday only. It is one of the best night market I ever seen in Malaysia, it is on spar with Taiwan night market. You cant imagine how lively the crowd is on a Sunday night! Hotels - The Styles Hotel The hotel is 2-star and is extremely convenient, it located right beside Jonker Street Night Market entrance, basically a 10 seconds walk is all it takes to reach the night market. At the same time, the room has a very good sound proof, literally no noise can be heard once the windows shutted off. (~SGD $50 per night) Food & Restaurants - GravyBaby, Siew Tin's Nyonya Kitchen (The price greatly varies depending on what you ordered, i will say GravyBaby is good bar to visit as there's good food, good service, good drink and good atmosphere!) Shopping - Jonker Street Night Market It typically operates from 6pm to 11.30pm which by 8pm you will see all the stores setup. What makes the place amazing is that there's a physical shop behind each night market stall. Thus you can image how many shops and stalls there are on the whole stretch of Jonker Street. Definitely a shopping frenzy! #staycation #malacca #melaka
