Tampa 4-Day Trip (Part 1) | City Area

This is my third trip to Florida this year, and it truly feels like my happy old home amidst the dreary winters of the East Coast. Earlier this year, I visited Miami and St. Augustine, but Tampa offered far more surprises. Here's a brief record of the places I visited in the city: 🌟Ybor City, pp. 2-8 Ybor City is a historic district blending Cuban culture, with its streets and buildings retaining a retro style. I went on Thanksgiving, and perhaps because of the holiday, the streets were a bit quiet, far less bustling than Little Havana in Miami. 🚉: There's a very convenient and cute free TECO Line streetcar from downtown Tampa to Ybor City, stopping at several stations along the way. The carriages have a retro wooden feel, perfect for taking photos. On the return trip, I got off at Sparkman Wharf, which mainly offers harbor views and is frequently visited by cruise ships. 🌟Riverwalk & University of Tampa, pp. 9-12: A very pleasant walking route in the city. Along the river are the Tampa Museum of Art and Waterfront Park, and you can see the silver onion-domed spires of the University of Tampa on the opposite bank. The university is just across the river, so you can take a quick stroll. 🌟Oxford Exchange, pp. 13-15: A five-minute walk from the University of Tampa, this is a popular restaurant/bookstore/café. The ambiance is quite interesting and worth checking out. The food is so-so, except the Fish Taco, which was pretty good. 🌟Clearwater Beach, pp. 16-17: I originally planned to spend two days exploring the city, but it seemed like there wasn't much to see. So, on the second afternoon, I took a taxi from the city to Clearwater Beach. It cost a little over 30 yuan one way, which was reasonable. 🏖️Clearwater Beach has white sand, and the color scheme against the blue sky and sea is truly beautiful. Following the car's recommendation, I booked a dolphin toor at Little Toot for 4:30 pm. Upon boarding, I discovered the entire boat was filled with fellow countrymen, a testament to the power of tourism. Personally, I found the tour rather ordinary. The boat mostly navigated the inner harbor, giving me a feeling similar to occasionally taking a boat trip across the Husdon River while commuting to New York. Dolphins were mainly seen in the last short stretch, a matter of luck. The sunset was indeed beautiful, but watching it from the beach was far more stunning than from the inner harbor. 🍛After disembarking, I ate dinner at Crabby's Dockside Clearwater nearby. Overall, it was quite good. The prawns I ordered had a special thirteen-spice seasoning, which was quite unusual.
