Chuyện của Xíu

A really great little street to stroll along. It is pedestrianised (a few hundred metres) and full of small specialist shops from cheese, tea, coffee to linen and fashion. There are also fruit stalls with magnificant displays of fruit and vegetables. If you want to take home wonderful macaroons, then buy them here the day or the day before you go home - they are much cheaper than at the airport. The lady who served us said they would keep up to 5 days as long as you didn't, keep them somewhere too hot e.g. in direct sunlight. Our hotel was happy to keep them in one of their fridges. They made wonderful presents for our friends.
