#phuket The Phi Phi Islands are located between the mainland (Krabi) and Phuket Island, approximately 50 kilometers in either direction. Phi Phi Leh is an uninhabited island located 1.5 km from the southernmost tip of Phi Phi Don Island. The island's main attraction is Maya Bay: a bay and beach of the same name, surrounded by high cliffs on three sides. The bay became the island's main attraction because it was here that the 1999 film "The Beach" starring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed.
