The county town of Lancashire, many northbound trains have to transfer here. A typical northwestern industrial city, of course, has long been de-industrialized. Almost two streets are so big. The city's bus station is a classic of brutalist architecture. Of course, if you are not interested in architecture, you will only feel ugly. The park and trail by the canal are beautiful, and it's okay to take a walk when the weather is good. If you transfer here and have plenty of time, you can stroll around.
