#hellohalloween The Candlelit Corridor I visited Ham House during an evening tour in late October, and it was pure gothic theatre. The guides carried lanterns, the walls seemed to whisper, and somewhere in the distance, a door creaked open — on its own. The Long Gallery was the highlight: golden light, velvet drapes, portraits staring solemnly through the dark. Outside, the garden was silent except for the rustle of leaves. It’s not frightening; it’s deeply atmospheric. A perfect #hellohalloween escape for lovers of history and hauntings alike.
