GONDOLA WINTER RIDES: BUNDLE UP!

#2023travelwish Bundle up! We are driving towards the Crystal Mountain Blvd, Enumclaw in Washington to enjoy the Mt. Rainier Gondola at Crystal Mountain Resort. On this winter time, only the Nisqually entrance is opened. The temperature is almost below 29⁰F so I need to dress in layers with warm jacket, hat, scarf, gloves and shoes with good traction. I dont know how to ski nor snowboard to enjoy the snow but a gondola ride allows me to appreciate the stunning snow view of the mountain and the snow loaded trees from the top inside the enclosed passenger car. The ride brings me to 2,400 vertical feet to the summit in almost ten minutes. Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Range is covered with snow. The Summit House, Washington's highest elevation restaurant is closed. We only stay there for 20 mins because of the freezing experience on top. It is good to reserve online to avoid the long queues.
