Shanghai Trip Review This 4-day trip to Shanghai was a fantastic mix of history, modern sights, and delicious food. I used a combination of Didi and trains to get around, making it easy to explore both the city and a nearby water town. 📍 Itinerary Highlights: Day 1: I started at the beautiful Yu Garden and had a delicious lunch of local noodles and xiao long bao at Jia Jia Tang Bao. Later, I visited the serene Jing'an Temple and enjoyed the iconic night view of The Bund, where I also had some tasty crab noodles. Day 2: I got a bird's-eye view of the city from the top of the Shanghai Tower and then shopped along the famous Nanjing Road. For dinner, I had a memorable meal at Canton 8, where the pork belly was a highlight. Day 3: I took a train to the picturesque water town of Zhujiajiao. It was a charming day trip filled with canals, old bridges, and local noodles. Day 4: I spent the day in the artistic and quirky Tianzifang area, exploring the alleyways and relaxing at a cute cafe called Butter & Creamorous. Day 5: My trip ended with an early 7 AM flight, so I didn't have time for any more sightseeing. Overall, it was an incredible trip that showed off the best of Shanghai's culture and cuisine. My stay at Yitel Premium was a convenient base for all my adventures.
