A large lake with many different parts

There are many large large lakes in China but in my opinion this is the most developed and interesting. The lake itself is huge and we decided to walk around the whole lake last winter which took around 4 – 4.5 hours. There are some good hotels around the hotel, a large bar area/ street, several communities and many restaurants. After walking around the lake for hours you really get the sense the areas have their own character. There is also a large pedestrian bridge which has been built recently making it easier to walk around the bottom side of the lake. Parking is easy as there is a large car park at the north side of the lake.
