Day Trip to Toledo

📅 Travel Itinerary 09:15 Depart Atocha Station 🚃 09:49 Arrive at Toledo Station 🚃 Walk to the Old Town 🚶 10:45 Toledo Cathedral 11:40 Lunch 🍴 at Lo Nuestro 12:15 Santo Tomé Church 12:45 Santa María la Blanca Church 13:00 Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes One-hour walk to the viewpoint 🚶 15:00 Return to Toledo city center Strolling around souvenir shops 🚶 17:23 Depart Toledo Station 🚃 17:57 Arrive at Atocha Station 🚃 Train tickets between Atocha and Toledo stations were booked in advance. The train was almost fully booked, so reservations are a must! The walk to the viewpoint takes about 30 minutes one way. Since I had time, I decided to walk, but the uphill path was quite challenging. Taking the tourist trolley departing from the city center would probably be more comfortable. For lunch, I had Toledo's specialty, Carcamusas! Every building was absolutely stunning. ☺️
