Old-Town in Yangzhou

Yangzhou is in Jiangsu province, just north of the Yangtze river. It was founded 2,500 years ago and was part of the Beijing-Hangzhou "Grand Canal". That's why Yangzhou has a quite big and amazing old town. 🏚️ The architecture in the more touristy area is beautiful, it is restored in a nice way. You can walk, buy some Yangzhou snacks and buy souvenirs. If you go left or right of the main alley, off of the beaten path, you will find some alleyways, that's where the local old-town life is happening. Locals do their laundry, have a talk or drink tea.
