Unity of Italy Square Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Unity of Italy Square 🗺️
#timetotravel
The Unity of Italy Square, also known as Piazza dell'Unità d'Italia, is an awe-inspiring masterpiece located in Trieste, Italy. As I stood in this grand square, I was struck by its sheer size and breathtaking beauty.
The square faces the Adriatic Sea, offering stunning views of the water and the surrounding architecture. It's a place that exudes a sense of history and unity, with majestic buildings lining its sides.
The most iconic feature of the square is the stunning Town Hall, a magnificent neoclassical building that adds to the grandeur of the space. Surrounding cafes and restaurants provide the perfect vantage points for people-watching and savoring Italian cuisine.
Visiting the Unity of Italy Square is a must for anyone exploring Trieste. It's a place that evokes a sense of national pride and leaves you with a deep appreciation for the city's rich heritage and stunning vistas. #trieste #italy
Northern Italian Port City
Trieste is a beautiful small town in northern Italy. We took a two-hour train ride here from Venice. Remnants of the Roman Empire and Venetian Empire can be seen all around the city. The city can easily be explored on foot in a day. Because Trieste is a port city, it has a rich trade and maritime history. We saw many statues and historical buildings along the water. The Piazza Unita d’Italia is also near the port and is an important square in the city. There are historic cafes and restaurants surrounding the square, and we enjoyed a nice dinner at the Caffe degli Specchi.

Lago di Fusine inferiore Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Italy Travel | Hidden Paradise Lake
Lago di Fusine Inferiore/Fusine Lake is located in Tarvisio, Udine Province in northeastern Italy. It is surrounded by the Alps and it snows here almost all winter ❄️.
On the way to Lake Fusine, the car drives through a vast expanse of white snow and snow-capped mountains. The trees here are also diverse, and even in the winter, one can still see trees full of vitality and greenery amidst the ice and snow. Snowy mountains, green trees, houses of different sizes scattered around... all of this is like a beautiful postcard.
In Fusine Lake, I can hardly believe my eyes. The desolation and depression of winter have completely disappeared, and all I see is a clear blue lake with ducks happily swimming and jumping, and trees reflected in the lake, some lush and some withered but still standing tall 🌲. Walking around the lake, I feel happy and relaxed, and the beauty of nature gives us endless energy. We will never feel tired...
Tell yourself that in the summer, you will definitely come back here to witness the changes of the four seasons and feel the charm of nature.

Amalfi Coast Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Amalfi is the most charming coastal town in the world
Among the many coastlines in Italy,
the scenery of the Amalfi Coast is the most beautiful.
Located on the south side of the Sorrento Peninsula in southern Italy,
from Salerno to Positano, there are 14 coastal towns. In 1997, the Amalfi Coast
was listed as a 'Cultural Landscape World Heritage Site' by UNESCO.
🍀
One of the top ten most beautiful sights in the world,
together with the Greek islands, it is known as 'Paradise on Earth'. The sunset light permeates the entire sea, waves and sails,
the houses are scattered and shrouded in smoke, the crowd and vehicles on the cliff path are calm and peaceful, and the beauty is overwhelming.
🍀
There is a small town also called Amalfi.
The name of this town is also the source of the name of the Amalfi Coast.
From Positano along Salerno,
there is a bay road known as 'Lemon Street'.

PATH OF THE GODS , ALMAFI COAST
PATH OF THE GODS, ALMAFI COAST
Dari kawasan pergunungan kita menuju ke pinggir lautan … dari utara minggir ke selatan. The famous Almafi Coast, a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. Kawasan dengan tebing tinggi di sepanjang pinggir laut yang menghubungkan penempatan tepi laut yang cukup terkenal, definitely one of the most beautiful part of Italy 🇮🇹 . The not so good thing is this place can be crowded and expensive especially in peak season.
So that’s why I choose to travel on the off season and the best way to explore this region in my opinion is by foot. Terdapat banyak hiking trails di sepanjang tebing tinggi pinggir laut dengan view yang cukup dramatic di antara bandar Almafi dan Positano but I choose the most famous—the Sentiero degli Dei or Path of the Gods!
This 8 kilometres hike between the village of Bomerano to Nocella, Positano and vice versa will take around 2 to 4 hours (depending on how many times you stops to take in all the views).
So how difficult it is? It’s can be easy to moderate difficulty… you find it easy if you are an experienced hiker … which I’m not and I find it was not too bad .. BUT … bare in mind that this hike is not for everyone and never ever underestimate the risks because some of the paths are rough, very exposed and narrow with loose stones. So be extra careful with your feet.
The important thing to know is it’s much easier to start your hike from the village Bomerano (easily reach by bus from Almafi) and end it in Nocella because the hike mostly downhill.
But if you up for something more challenging you can do it the opposite way 🤷🏼♂️.
I just love hiking/ tracking along the coastline - you’ll have epic seascapes, dramatic cliffs, and epic coastal scenery. I have a chance to do a few costal hike around Europe and here are my top 3 so far :
1. Fira to Oia, Santorini
2. Path of The Gods, Almafi Coast
3. Monterosso to Vernazza, Cinque Terre
