Bruny Island – A Trip That Didn’t Start as Planned, But Ended Up Being Unforgettable ❤️ Everything was planned perfectly… until the day we were due to fly. We were supposed to take an evening flight from Singapore to Melbourne when we suddenly received calls and messages from Trip.com informing us that our flight had been rescheduled to the following day. That meant we would miss our connecting flight to Tasmania. What was meant to be a relaxing morning quickly turned into a frantic scramble. We spent the next few hours searching for alternative flights while speaking with Trip.com and Jetstar. Thankfully, Jetstar managed to get us on an afternoon flight. Although we had to transit via Perth before reaching Melbourne, we still made it in time to catch our flight to Tasmania. With that, we rushed to the airport—and from there, everything went smoothly. After arriving in Tasmania, we picked up our rental car and drove to Kettering Ferry Terminal to catch the ferry to Bruny Island. Fee for ferry: around $50 per vehicle for a return ticket It only takes 15-20 minutes to reach the destination They gave us a map of Bruny island which I found super useful on places to visit, hike, eat,etc Lots of scenic views in here, breathtaking coastal cliffs, long sandy beaches, many things to do and explore. I am really in love with it and I would recommend staying in this island for at least 2 days to truly enjoy the beauty and calm vibe of Bruny Island. One day isn’t enough to see it all!
