On a tranquil afternoon, I embarked on a thrilling adventure, riding my motorbike to the enchanting Ko Yo Island in Thailand. My destination was a high mountain temple that graced the island's summit, offering breathtaking views of the sea.

The interior of the temple was equally captivating. At the mountaintop, I discovered numerous Buddhist statues, each radiating profound religious faith and cultural heritage. Each sculpture was meticulously crafted, exuding a sacred aura.
Although still under construction, the place retained an air of mystery and excitement. I could sense the love and dedication of the builders towards this place, making my visit all the more special.
Adjacent to the temple, I stumbled upon a pavilion, offering a comfortable spot to rest. Sitting there, I closed my eyes, took in the fresh mountain air, and felt a profound sense of inner peace and serenity.
In the end, I departed from this sacred place, but I carried with me the inner tranquility and a deeper understanding of Thai culture. This journey not only allowed me to appreciate the beauty of the landscape but also the profound charm of religion and culture.

Folklore Museum The Institute for Southern Thai Studies, Thaksin University.
Museums often host displays that show what life would have been like in other times and places. They contain genuine artefacts, clothing, furniture, etc., that were used in those periods or locations. This allows us to feel what it was like during that time, which can be very interesting. Just like this museum in Southern Province of Thailand, we can say that the houses were traditional by just looking at its appearance. But don’t forget, those are not just houses. Those are buildings which have different cultures and traditions of the people in this province being keep inside.

Upon reaching the summit, I encountered a sacred Buddhist structure. Inside, there was a golden temple adorned with fresh flower offerings. The temple was surrounded by the embrace of the forest, making it a tranquil and comfortable retreat.

Wat Khao Bo ko yo 👍🏻🙏🏼👍🏻
#timetotravel
Exploring Ko Yo Island in Thailand, I had the privilege of visiting Wat Khao Bo, a remarkable Buddhist temple situated right by the sea. This sacred and tranquil site offered a vast and serene environment for reflection.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by a beautifully carved entrance gate adorned with intricate Buddhist motifs. Just outside the temple building stood a golden statue of a monk, adding to the aura of spirituality.
What made this temple truly unique was the presence of a small mountain cave nearby. Outside the cave, a white snake statue captured my attention, and inside the cave, I discovered a serene Buddhist statue. In front of it, there were offerings of fresh flowers, adding to the ambiance of reverence.
I took the opportunity to rest in the shade of a large tree within the temple grounds, engaging in conversations with the local people. Wat Khao Bo provided not only a place of worship and contemplation but also a space for cultural exchange and peaceful moments by the sea.
Visiting this temple was a profound experience, combining spirituality with the natural beauty of the seaside location, and it allowed me to connect with the local community and their traditions.
Temple in ko yo island 🙏🏼👍🏻
#timetotravel
Exploring the beautiful islands of Thailand, I had the privilege of visiting Wat Khao Kuti on Ko Yo Island, an unforgettable travel experience. This Buddhist temple and structure are nestled in a spectacular setting, evoking feelings of serenity and sanctity.
From a distance, I spotted the temple, and its architecture left a profound impression. Flanking the sides of the building are two imposing Thai statues, as if guarding this sacred sanctuary. The most awe-inspiring part was the pinnacle of the structure, adorned with a golden Buddhist stupa that shimmered in the sunlight, adding a majestic touch to the entire site.
The surroundings of Wat Khao Kuti are vast, yet impeccably maintained and organized. Adjacent to the temple, I discovered a pavilion, an ideal spot to sit and take in the surrounding vistas or engage in conversations with the locals. There were also numerous large wooden wheels placed nearby, seemingly materials for future renovations, adding to the place's unique charm.
I took the opportunity to capture photos and rest here for a while, savoring the tranquility and sanctity of the place. This travel experience provided me with a deeper understanding of Thai culture and religion and allowed me to find inner peace amidst the breathtaking natural surroundings.
Wat Khao Kuti is undoubtedly a destination worth visiting, promising unforgettable memories and a profound travel experience.
Little seaside park🙏🏼👍🏻
#timetotravel
I discovered a charming little seaside park on Ko Yo Island, Thailand. While the park may not be large, it certainly exudes beauty and comfort. When I visited, there was a strong and refreshing breeze that added to the ambiance.
I took a leisurely stroll through the park, appreciating its tidy landscaping and well-planned pathways. The design of the park made perfect use of the space available. One particularly special feature was a small wooden hut perched above the sea, creating a unique and picturesque scene.
Despite its compact size, this seaside park on Ko Yo Island offered a peaceful and delightful escape. The combination of natural beauty and thoughtful design made it a memorable stop on my journey.
Ko yo cultural market🐬
Nestled by the sea, the Ko Yo Cultural Market offers a picturesque setting. This market is situated right by the beach, boasting impressive upkeep and cleanliness. Fish sculptures adorn the area, adding a unique touch.
Whether for an evening stroll or a midday visit, this spot is a pleasant retreat. However, during the afternoon's scorching heat, I found it a bit too much to handle. Thankfully, at the street corner, there are stalls selling fruits, coconut ice cream, and various refreshing beverages, providing a cooling respite.
Though the market is small in scale and sees few visitors, it is impeccably maintained, free from any clutter. The market's beauty complements the adjacent seaside park, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.
The Ko Yo Cultural Market is a place where you can feel the sea breeze on your face while savoring local flavors. Whether it's appreciating the sculptures, indulging in food, or enjoying the serene beachfront, this market is worth a visit.
