The lift takes hikers from the village of Vellau to the Leiter Alm mountain pasture, which is located directly on the trail. The Merano High Mountain Trail, also known as Route 24, is a circular hiking route that is approximately 100 kilometers long. It circles the Texelgruppe Nature Park, the largest protected area in South Tyrol, Italy.

The platform is about 16 meters long and can accommodate up to 50 people. It is situated near the top station of the Unterstell cable car. The location is a popular spot for hiking and offers other attractions, such as a via ferrata.

#hellohalloween Algund (Lagundo in Italian) is a charming village/municipality in South Tyrol, northern Italy. It’s well-known in the region and draws visitors for a variety of reasons. Algund is located immediately adjacent to Merano (Meran), a more famous spa town. Elevation: Village starts around ~300–350 m above sea level, rising up through orchards-vineyard zones up to higher mountain terrain. 1. Beautiful Alpine‑Mediterranean Setting Algund combines lush orchards, vineyards, and a mild climate in the valley with lofty alpine peaks nearby. That contrast of Mediterranean plants (olive trees, vineyards) in the valley and high mountains nearby is very appealing.
