Cologne Cathedral Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Go to Germany and visit the top 5 places worth visiting.
1.) Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Picture 123
With centuries of history, Cologne is one of the best cities in Germany to explore. Located on the western edge of the country, this city blends everything together and is perfect for a weekend getaway. For me, the most impressive landmark must be Cologne Cathedral. Located on the banks of the Rhine River, it overlooks Cologne and is well worth a visit. Not only that, but there is also a lot of history within its walls. The Gothic architecture of the cathedral is the most ambitious building project since the Middle Ages.
2.) Rottenburg, Plot 456
One of the most vibrant and colorful places in Germany is Rothenburg. Well, at least in my opinion!
Rothenburg is located on the edge of the state of Bavaria in northern Germany, and is one of the best tourist destinations in Germany. For many years, it has been included in the route of the Romantic Road.
3.) Burger Figure 7
One of the treasures of the Elbe River is the city of Hamburg. Trust me, Hamburg has too many epic sights!
Although it may not have the "advantages" of Berlin, as one of the best destinations for city travel in Germany, it has a strong influence.
4.) Dresden Figure 8
Dresden is located in the Saxony region of Germany and is a city about the size of Edinburgh in the UK. This makes it big enough to be vibrant and full of things to do, but also small enough to explore over a long weekend.
Dresden was once known as the "Jewel Box", housing several luxurious buildings and artworks.
5.) Munich Figure 9
Munich is known as the capital of Bavaria and is undoubtedly a very beautiful city, as well as one of the most worthwhile places to visit in Germany. Not only that, Munich can be the gateway to the wider Bavarian region, and can also easily become the starting or ending point of your travels.

Cologne Cathedral is also known as Cathedral Church of Saint Peter. It is a Catholic Church in Cologne Germany. It is renowned monument of German Catholicism and Gothic architecture and declared as World Heritage Site.
We were there the last December. Winter time, therefore when we reach there, the sky is still dark. We look at the church from dark to bright sky, it’s really stunning!
Morning time before 10am, the crowd is not there yet. We are able to go into the church after the morning mass. The interior of the church is really nice!
Worth to go and high recommended!
Memorable: Exploring Cologne
During my recent trip to Cologne, I stayed at a cheap hostel located in the city center, which made it easy to walk to many of the major attractions. The hostel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and a great social atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Cologne Cathedral, a stunningly beautiful and historic church that dominates the city skyline. The cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the most visited landmarks in Germany. The interior of the cathedral is equally impressive, with soaring columns, intricate stained glass windows, and a wealth of historical artifacts on display.
Another highlight of my trip was walking across the Hohenzollern Bridge, which offers great views of the city and the river Rhine. The bridge is also a popular spot for love locks, with couples from all over the world attaching locks to the railings as a symbol of their love.
Another interesting place to visit in Cologne is the City Gate, a historic monument that dates back to the 18th century. The gate is a popular tourist attraction and offers great views of the city from its vantage point on the riverbank.
Overall, I had a great time in Cologne and would highly recommend it as a destination for travelers looking to experience the culture and history of Germany on a budget. The city has a wide range of affordable accommodation options, as well as a wealth of things to see and do, including the stunning Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge, and the City Gate.#mytripvlog

Cologne Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Cologne is best known for diving. The artillery fire of World War II left dozens of shipwrecks here. Shipwreck hunting is a unique feature here. But if you want to dive, you can touch the shipwreck. Generally snorkeling can only be seen. Followed by the beauty of the mirror lake. There are many places in Palawan. The bay surrounded by karst terrain forms a lake like a lake. The boats can't pass. They can only go in from the side of the island, or swim in the gaps in the island. The place is called the lagoon. There are many routes in Cologne Island, and we are taking the nearest blue and green.
I was leaving Cologne that night. I was still unwilling to take photos of the best location of Cologne Cathedral on the other side of the Hohenzollern Bridge. Even the deceased husband and the half-resident husband along the river. Taking a photo or hh/ squatting early, we took a closer look at the lock on the Hohenzollern Bridge and wanted to see when it was first hanged. Many locks have rusted and there have been years of sedimentation. Some locks are just like the new ones that have just been hung up. Each lock has an affection. No matter love, affection, friendship, it is worth cherishing
there is a ladder under the bridge for the tourists to sit on the floor, drink beer, talk Chatting, slowly watching the sunset, there are some dark clouds, but at some point, the sun shines out of the bridge hole, very lucky, I recorded it and took the video.
Time has passed 9 o'clock, it is impossible to wait for the dark, our ship will leave here at 10 o'clock, it is not bad to photograph Cologne under the afterglow of the sunset, very beautiful, I am very satisfied
The boat started to drive, and came to the deck to photograph the Cologne church under the night.
Cologne is a city of heavy industry north of the Alps, known as the "Northern Rome". In the Roman era of 37 BC, the son-in-law of the Roman Emperor Augustus, Agrippi, built a city here. As a colonial city of Rome, the city name of Cologne evolved from Colonial. In 50 AD, Roman Emperor Claudia was born here and officially named it Cologne. Wake up from the gentle morning light of the Rhine, the Viking cruise ship has been opened to the opposite side of Cologne Cathedral, and you can see it in a blink of an eye, and you can't help but breathe. Hohenzollern Bridge, which is named after the German family Hohenzollern, crosses the Rhine and is an integral part of the Cologne Cathedral landscape. Here, 1,200 trains pass every day, making it the most bridged train in Europe. The four prestigious emperor sculptures of William I, William II, William III and William IV stood at the bridge and guarded the city.
Although Cologne Cathedral is the first classic here, for many lovers, the love bridge on the Rhine is obviously more attractive. It seems that hanging a lock with two names on the bridge locks the eternal love. Here, you can see hundreds of thousands of love locks, heart-shaped locks, and different locks. They are different in shape, different in size, and colorful in color, making them the best wall for taking pictures.
Love is romantic, "lock of love" is heavy. The German railway department is also worried about the crushing bridge, but no one can stop the love
Cologne is a very famous city in Germany, and it has been listed by many as a stop for Germany. Rhine Gorge Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
The scenery of the Rhine began to get better after entering Germany. In the 65-kilometer-long Middle Rhine Valley of Germany, there are many ancient towns and castles. These stormy castles and unpretentious towns are scattered between the rolling hills on the banks of the Rhine, witnessing the passing of time. The German aristocrats, princes, and archbishops of the Middle Ages fought for their hegemony. They converted the personal collections of the kings to their own hereditary property. They dug trenches, set up territories, and occupied the terrain to build their own castles.
Hundreds of years of historical ruins make the Rhine Valley a unique landscape that blends natural beauty with culture and art. In 2001, the middle and upper reaches of the Rhine River were selected as World Cultural Heritage, and today it has become an important tourist route in Germany. In 1802, the German writers Clemens von Brentano and Achim von Alnim walked from Cologne to Koblenz for a romantic journey to the Rhine. Collect folk songs and legends about the Rhine River, organize them into poems, make the Rhine a beautiful fairy tale world, and present the beautiful fairy tale here to the world in the form of poetry.
Koblenz, the city is located at the confluence of the Moselle and the Rhine, historically an ancient Roman town. In the sixth century AD, it was the royal residence of the Frankish family. It was destroyed during the Second World War. The historic buildings were restored after the war, and the new builders had a modern form. The lake outside the city is beautiful and the tourism industry is quite prosperous. It is a famous white wine Riesling production area.
While drifting through the Rhine Valley, nearly 100 castles on both sides can be seen in the eye. The hh/ Rhine Valley is located between Bingen and Bonn in the upper reaches of the Rhine. In 2002, it was named World Cultural Heritage/hh. / Medieval castle landscape, thousands of years of grape farming culture, winemaking technology and ancient towns along the river, natural landscapes of the canyon, etc., let you have no time to take care of the clouds, the sun is high
The picturesque middle and upper reaches of the Rhine Valley is an important scenic spot in Germany and was elected as a World Heritage Site.
Walking through the 65-kilometer stretch of the Rhine River, quietly watching the riverside castles, historical towns and vineyards, together vividly depicts the long interaction between humans and the changing natural environment. history.
Along the way through many incredible legendary fortresses, the bougainvillea that stretches for dozens of kilometers spreads the scenery.
For centuries, many historical events and many legends that have taken place have had a great impact on writers, artists and composers.
The shore of the Rhine is one of my favorite trips in Europe. The beautiful natural scenery and historical sites on both sides of the Rhine are beautiful in the sun.
Be aware that as early as 2002, it was listed as a world cultural heritage. One large and small castles stood on their respective hills, echoing the river and looking across the mountains, so that my castle fans have already seen it. .
Rheinfelsberg is the largest castle in the Rhine region. It was built in 1245. It is said that the ruins of the castle are in a maze, and in that year the castle would impose a toll on each passing vessel.
The thousands of acres of vineyards are built on the hills. During the official autumn harvest season, although there are no attractive grapes on the cruise, you can see the lush green leaves in the distance and use the grapes grown here to make The wine must be very beautiful.
The beautiful castle on the hill echoes the red church of the Virgin Mary under the mountain, and it is particularly beautiful under the backdrop of the greenery.
Cruises drive through one town after another. Every town is like a fairy tale world. The first impression of Europe was this: green forests, creeks flowing, and colorful spires scattered around the river. Suddenly I feel so beautiful and so unreal.

The Scenic Town Of Dusseldorf
My final work trip in Germany brings me to a city called dusseldorf, which is just a 3hrs drive up north from the main city frankfurt.
Dusseldorf is known for is arts fantasy and music. There is also 2 different side of dusseldorf, where I was it's the old town called Altstadt and this is easily spotted as the rhine river seperates the old town and the new town of dusseldorf.
Few popular attractions that you have to visit is the Rhine Tower, the musuem kunstpalast, the rhine promenade and many more all located along the banks of the rhine river. And of course being in Germany, don't forget to enjoy a pint of beer while enjoy the scenic view of the river and the great fall weather.

North Rhine-Westphalia is located in western Germany and is the most populous state in Germany and the most densely populated region in Europe. The capital of Dsseldorf, west borders Belgium and the Netherlands.
From the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Arnhem, the line is the ICE Express, direct to Duisburg, Dussel, Cologne, Bonn, Frankfurt and other big cities, expensive but save time.
On Christmas Eve, Dsseldorf's "King's Avenue" decorated with lanterns presents a unique theme world. The little angel market at Heinrich Heine Square exudes the energy of young people. There is a nostalgic stall in front of the historic City Hall and the statue of the Knights of Yang Williams. The small star market in Steinbrcken is full of impressive winter views.
Walking in the cold winter days, how can I have a glass of mulled wine made from white or red grapes? Gluhwein is a German traditional Christmas drink. As early as BC, the Romans prepared wines by adding sugar and various spices to the wine to preserve the wine for a longer period of time and increase the flavor of the wine. Only this winter, which needs warmth, can be enjoyed. A cup of hot wine went down and the cold was dispelled.
More than 230 Christmas stalls and 450 square meters of city ice rink, fun.
Flanders Hotel in Bruges
Totally agree m Joey’s our stay. Good location & Service. Good Breakfast Spread not to be missed . Hotel is 5mins Walk to main Markt Square, attractions & F&B outlets. Recommend Restaurant Diligence just a few minutes wallk , a must to your dinner there.. They serve the best Flemish Beef stew!!
Germany Dusseldorf
I didn't expect Duisburg to have such charming places. The old buildings are not only beautiful but also well-preserved. The church was built in 1672, so it should be one of the earliest buildings. Some old houses still use wooden curtains outside the windows, which can block light and sound when closed at night.

Love Locks @ Hohenzollern Bridge
The Hohenzollern Bridge is a bridge crossing the river Rhine in the German city of Cologne (German: Köln). It crosses the Rhine at kilometre 688.5. Originally, the bridge was both a railway and road bridge. However, after its destruction in 1945 and its subsequent reconstruction, it was only accessible to rail and pedestrian traffic. Since 2008 padlocks have adorned a fence on the bridge, see all the locks symbolising undying love chained to the bridge. A must on your trip here. If you want to show your love buy a pad lock and lock it to one of the fences on the bridge.

Hohenzollernbrucke - Lock Your Love Here
#createwithtrip to the bridge of love, Hohenzollernbrucke, iconic pedestrian and rail over Rhine River with thousands of padlocks left behind by people from near and far to symbolize locking their love together.
Badly damaged in 1945, the bridge was reconstructed and now it’s the most heavily used railway bridge in Germany. This bridge is easily accessible from Cologne Cathedral, a huge landmark in Cologne.
Placing padlocks started in summer 2008, in the last estimate in 2015, there are 500,000 locks. One can spend many mins looking at the different locks, spotting interesting ones. I saw one dated from 1960, even a baby pacifier, messages in Mandarin.

1. Cologne Cathedral
The Cologne Cathedral is located in the center of Cologne, by the Rhine River, and is the iconic building of Cologne. With its 157-meter-high bell towers, it is the second tallest church in Germany and the third tallest in the world, as well as the third largest Gothic church in the world.
2. Hohenzollern Bridge
The Hohenzollern Bridge is one of the older bridges in Cologne, consisting of three railway bridges and pedestrian paths. The bridge, which connects the cathedral and spans the Rhine River, undoubtedly offers beautiful scenery.
The popularity of the Hohenzollern Bridge stems from the song 'Schenk mir dein Herz (Give Me Your Heart)' by the singer Hoehner. The story in the lyrics is set on this very bridge in Cologne and the love story associated with it. This song later became a household name in Germany and a staple on the carnival playlist.
3. Cologne Chocolate Museum
The Chocolate Museum is a must-see in Cologne, filled with the aroma of chocolate everywhere. Here you can see the entire process of how various chocolate beans are turned into chocolate. Each machine flows with real chocolate that is being processed, and it's truly a feast for the eyes.
This steel building spans the romantic Rhine, connecting the east and west of Cologne
Cologne believes that a lock is placed on the Hohenzollern Bridge and the key is thrown into the Rhine, and love can last forever. Some people have been hanging on the bridge since the summer of 2008. It is reported that there are now 160,000 locks sleeping here.
Here is the ocean of love, the love of people.
