Having dinner at Boathouse which by the river in Rockhampton. On the day, the view overlooking the river was great. By night the ambiance inside the restaurant was nice and outside was colorful with the light. Feeling very comfortable to eat here. Great view, great food, service was excellent too.
Food was fantastic, I enjoyed. Everything we ordered was delicious and tasty, and the presentation was lovely. The staffs were very friendly and attentive, it was a busy day, and they can still find a bit of time to joke a bit. What a wonderful dinner. Definitely recommend. Many visitors come here to try nicely cooked fish & chips, wagyu burgers and calamari. Well, was my first time here, good experience. I really love this place. It is fresh and modern.

I am a person that's love plant, flower, tree and nature so a visit to the Botanic Garden is a must for me also one of the nice place to visit without a cost. Rockhampton Botanic Gardens are amongst the oldest public gardens in Queensland. Wonderful place to wander around and enjoy. The place more natural with lots of birds at the lagoon. Saw the Gardens Tearooms. It's a café nestled under the 150-year-old Banyan Figs. I have an ice-cream as the weather was very hot but with cooling when you sit under the Big tree. So refreshing after an ice-cream break. They do have food, but I wasn't hungry. I love the Japanese Gardens, so nice and peaceful.
Atmosphere is definitely nice, fabulous with some scenic spots. A very good environment for relaxing and panic. Excellent place and I recommend it to you if you are in Rockhampton. The Zoo is just beside The Botanic Garden, and it's free. Do plan your trip well... Love the place.
#awesomepic#nationalpark#naturalwonders#summervacation BeUGLY If you haven’t visited Palm Cove then do so!!!
Such a stunning and picturesque destination full of palm trees overhanging the amazing beach. An extremely romantic destination but also great for families.
The esplanade stretches the entire length of Palm Cove, a short distance away from the main road which joins Cairns and Port Douglas.
All along the esplanade are stunning hotels, fabulous restaurants all overlooking the beach with ocean views.
Getting there - Buses (public and private charter), Uber etc., all go to Palm Cove from Cairns where the International Airport is located, about a 30 minute drive away.
Once in Palm Cove you can walk everywhere, although you can hire cars and scooters for travelling further afield. There are also many tours you can book.
Tours - Port Douglas is about a 40 minute drive north of Palm Cove. Considerably larger in size with a marina and a Main Street with shopping. Rainforests due to the tropical climate are everywhere and a trip to them are a must. Hartleys Crocodile Park is a great day out getting up close to crocs and is a short drive from Palm Cove.
Restaurants - All cuisines catered for with amazing views of the ocean only a few metres from the beach. All budgets catered for also with probably one of the best surf clubs situated right across from the beach, cheap cold beers, great food and entertainment for the kids.
Hotels - Book before you travel, especially at the moment during the pandemic when everyone is holidaying within Australia. All different budgets for the whole family. One of my favourites being the Pullman and the Reef House. All have swimming pools as unfortunately you can’t swim in the sea due to the local crocodiles and jelly fish! Although there is a netted area where you can have a swim in the sea if you so wish.
I was lucky enough to live in Palm Cove for a short time, a truly stunning place to call home and used to pinch myself daily when sat having a coffee down on the esplanade 🌴
#wintergetaway#unforgettableexperiences#couplestrip#café#seasidephotoguide#beautifulhotel#naturalwonders gawufb If you’ve never been to Cairns, you have to go!
Far North Queensland can get very hot and sweaty at some times of the year but a recent trip there I found it very comfortable, nice and warm during the day, not too humid but a nice temperature at night to sleep well.
The scenery is amazing, the seafood tastes amazing and the laidback lifestyle is refreshing. whether you want to sit around sipping cocktails, go scuba driving on the reef or go exploring in tbe rainforest, Cairns has something for everyone.
With one of the 7 wonders of the world on your doorstep, the Great Barrier Reef is easily accessible by boat or helicopter from the marina.
if you visit Cairns you have to experience the reefs, truly amazing and unbelievable once you get out there.
The food is sensational with all tastes catered for, huge in Seafood but Asian, Greek, American all along the esplanade which is undergoing a transformation.
Some great hotels around and everything in walking distance, I thoroughly recommend a visit.

What’s not to love about Noosa….
Everyone wants to live here, everyone wants to holiday here, and why not?
Amazing weather and climate, amazing beaches, friendly happy people, and great places to eat and drink.
The famous Main Beach adjacent to Noosa National Park is great for chilling in the sun, people watching, amazing and safe for kids with lots of cafes and restaurants right on your door step.
There are paddle boards, kayaks, surf boards for hire to use on the beach, the Noosa Surf Club overlooks the golden sands with Life Guards on duty all day long every day of the week.
If you visit, you won’t want to leave!
