You will find yourself underground thanks to an authentic shola, the same one used by miners in active mines.

Discovering level 320 is primarily associated with learning about the development of mining technology from the end of the 19th century to the present day. During the tour, you will see it at least four times, and in a completely raw form of a seam up to two meters thick.
You will cover part of the route at the level of 320 m on an electric suspended railway. It is the only mining railway of this type in the world open to tourists! It will take you to the working area of two mining shearers, a roadheader and a longwall shearer. There you will see how these powerful machines for mining rock and coal work up close.
You will end your tour of the Guido Mine in the building above the shaft, where you can find Silesian mining souvenirs in the shop.

Central Museum of Firefighting Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Museum of the City of Mysłowice
The museum brings the history of the city of Mysłowice closer, emphasizing the political and economic history, as well as the development of art and culture. The creation of the Museum of the City of Mysłowice is a reference to the interwar history of Mysłowice. In 1928, the Municipal Museum was established from private collections handed over to the Mysłowice Magistrate. The first donor was Fr. Kleeman, who donated a mineral collection of about 2,000 pieces to the city. Thanks to the initiative of Emil Caspari (at that time a councilor of the Magistrate), a resolution was adopted to transfer the necessary funds for the establishment of the Museum. Several departments were created to bring together exhibits - librarians, minerals, ornithology, numismatics, ethnography, archives and a miscellaneous department, which included, among others, memorabilia from the Silesian Uprisings and the plebiscite.
The museum conducts research and educational activities on the history and culture of the city by collecting, developing and conserving the collections and popularizing them. It also conducts activities related to integrating the local community in the spirit of respecting the traditions and achievements of previous generations of the city's inhabitants.
The most valuable exhibit of the museum is the Zone Clock from 1877, produced in Gustav Becker's factory, as well as reproductions of photos showing the 20th-century history of Mysłowice, which present, among others, daily life of city dwellers.
Central Museum of Firefighting
The mission of the Central Museum of Firefighting is to store, collect, document and exhibit the achievements and heritage of Polish firefighting. CMP is the largest facility of this type in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. The museum collections include over 4,000 exhibits. The most interesting of them have been exposed in thematic sections. The museum organizes its own cyclical events: Children's Day, Night of Museums and Industriada. Pursuant to the statute, CMP conducts substantive and advisory cooperation with other museums and chambers of this type in Poland. Since 2006, it has been on the Industrial Monuments Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship.
The Firefighting Museum was opened on September 14, 1975. The first seat of the museum was the buildings of the Nazi camp at Powstańców Street in Mysłowice. In 1991, the halls at Stadionowa Street in Mysłowice became the new seat of the museum. Since 1992, the museum has been incorporated into the structures of the State Fire Service and changed its name to the Central Museum of Firefighting. It is the largest facility of this type in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. It collects several thousand fire equipment.

Willa Caro Museum in Gliwice
An example of a well-preserved residence built in the 19th century in the style of the Renaissance villa architecture of that time. Previously, the villa belonged to the Gliwice industrialist Oskar Karo, and in 1934 it was transferred by the city to the permanent premises of the museum. Built in 1882-1885, the two-story residence (the third floor was completed in the 1920s) has a large eclectic garden. Currently, the villa and the garden are surrounded by a faithfully restored stone and metal fence. Inside the villa, interior elements are well preserved: beautifully decorated ceilings, boiserie, parquet, door and window joinery.
The building is used as the premises of the Museum in the city of Gliwice. Currently, the villa hosts a permanent exhibition of the interiors of the living quarters of the Upper Silesian industrialists of the 19th century. It also hosts numerous temporary exhibitions, concerts, meetings, conferences and exhibition-related workshops.

Skansen - Zagroda Wsi Pszczynskiej Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Skansen in Pszczyna
Thanks to the efforts of the Society of Pszczyna Lovers, in the mid-1970s, the Pszczyna Village Farm was opened in the eastern part of the historic Pszczyna Park. On nearly two hectares, a dozen or so wooden architecture objects of the Pszczyna Land have been gathered. Recent testimonies of traditional rural buildings.
The oldest monument is the manor granary from Czechowice (1784). A real attraction is also the octagonal barn from Kryry (18th century), a cottage from Grzawa (1831), a smithy from Goczałkowice (19th century) and a water mill from Bojszów, which today houses exhibition halls. The open-air museum has a high cultural, historical and ethnographic value. It is one of the unique tourist attractions of the Silesian Voivodeship.
The historical and tourist significance of the Pszczyna Village Farm is evidenced by the fact that it was included in the Wooden Architecture Trail developed by the government, which combines the most valuable and interesting examples of wooden sacred and secular architecture in Upper Silesia. The uniqueness of the open-air museum lies in historic huts, most of which are buildings made of original materials. Many authentic furnishings have been collected in their interiors, including agricultural and craft tools for everyday use, "ladders", freight sleds, elegant carriages, furniture and interesting exhibits of folk art.
