Osaka Street by a night
Osaka is a bustling city that never sleeps. After the sun sets, the city comes alive with an energy that’s impossible to ignore. From its bright neon lights to its lively streets.
📍Dotonbori District
One of the best places to start exploring Osaka by night is Dotonbori. This iconic area is known for its lively atmosphere, bright signs, and mouthwatering street food. Take a walk along the street and be mesmerized by the famous Glico running man sign. The streets are lined with restaurants and bars, and the aromas of local delicacies like takoyaki and okonomiyaki fill the air. There are also many shops for some retail therapy.
📍Shinsekei District
The Shinsekai district is famous for its colourful signs and bustling streets. Take a walk to the Tsutenkaku Tower and see the famous Billiken statue, which is said to bring good luck to those who rub its feet.
For a taste of traditional Japanese culture, head to an izakaya. These small bars offer a cosy atmosphere where you can sample local dishes and drinks like sake and shochu. There are plenty of street food around too & expect long queues for the popular stalls.

Wandering Through Kyoto
In mid-April, I embarked on a captivating day trip through Kyoto. I couldn't resist visiting the must-see spots, including the enchanting 鴨川 (Kamo River), the Keage Incline rail track, the original Nintendo HQ building, and The Philosopher's Walk adorned with cherry blossoms. I ended the adventure on a rooftop bar in the city center.
Leaving Kyoto with unforgettable memories, it was time to say goodbye and head back to Osaka.

My 8-day itinerary in Japan 🇯🇵
#freehotelstay
Day – 1 We arrived in Japan via Narita Airport in the morning and was immediately captivated by the airport's bustle. My journey will begin here, I thought to myself.
We took the Skyliner to Tokyo. The train itself make me wow. It is efficient and easy to access.
We arrived at Keisei Ueno at noon and our first meal in Tokyo was Wagyu Yakiniku Panga. How amazing is it?is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and their soup is the best. Then we strolled through Ueno City, visited a helmet store, and took the subway to Ginza 6.
Day – 2 We spent the day exploring Tokyo's bustling city, stopping by places like the Ueno Park,Starbucks Reserve, Shibuya Sky, Takeshita Street, and Akihabara.
Day – 3 We utilize our Tokyo Wide Pass for rides on the shinkansen to Prince Karuizawa Shopping Mall and then head to Gundam Factory in Yokohama in the evening.
Day – 4 We travel to Chiba to ride on their Guinness World Record-holding hanging monorail. Then, in the evening, we took the Shinkansen to Nikko. It only takes 48 minutes to get to Utsunomiya station. If you travel by car, you will arrive in 1 hour 44 minutes.Isn't it unbelievable?
Day – 5 We rented a car and spent the day in Nikko, visiting the Akechidaira Ropeway, Ryuzu Falls, Lake Chuzenji, and even paying for the elevator ticket to see the Kegon Fall from 100 meters below!
Day – 6 We took a day trip to Hakone, where we marveled at the breathtaking views of the iconic Mount Fuji.We use the free pass to ride the Tozan bus, ropeway, Tozan cablecar, Tozan Railway, and even the Pirate Sightseeing Cruise. The best day of my trip to Japan. The weather is also pleasant.
Day – 7 We decide to take a short getaway to Oishi Lake, where we can see the entire gorgeous view of Mount Fuji from the lake, but it happens to be cloudy that day, so we can't see it, however the soft ice cream fuels my serotonin.
Day – 8 Given our vacation in Japan emerged drawing end, we did some shopping in Shinjuku and Asakusa and had our final meal at Wagyu Asakusa. That place was incredible and left us with fond memories of this country.

Hotel with the best view of Tokyo
The Prince Park Tower has one of the best hotel views of Tokyo, with the iconic Tokyo Tower right next door. The 5 star hotel rooms even have outdoor balconies, which is often a rarity in Tokyo. There’s several restaurants to choose between from Chinese to Japanese and steak, a bakery in the lobby, a breakfast buffet on the 33rd floor with 180 degree views of the city below and the Stellar Garden Sky Lounge. Even if you’re not a hotel guest you can visit these bars and restaurants to experience their amazing views. There’s a club lounge, spa and fitness facilities.
The metro station is a short walk away and you’re located right next door to Zojoji Temple, which is perfect if you’re wanting to do some exploring early in the morning before the tourists arrive. Roppongi is also a short walk away to do some shopping and dining.
The main selling point of the hotel is its view of Tokyo Tower which lights up every night from dusk. Generally the light switches off at midnight. There are also lights that sparkle on the hour every hour for 2 minutes on the main and top observation decks. Rooms start here from AUD $500 #Tokyo #Japan #tokyohotel
Visit Hie Shrine to see torii gates in Tokyo
If you don’t have time to visit Kyoto to see the famous Fushimi Inari Shrine and the red torii gates, don’t worry because you can find something similar in Tokyo at Hie Shrine. Plus the torii gates here are actually a much easier place to photograph without tourists in the way.
If you visit on the weekend, you will likely find many local families with children dressed in their kimonos taking photos. What’s nice is that although this shrine is becoming more popular with foreign tourists, there are still definitely more locals here.
The shrine is free to visit and although it opens at 6am, there are no gates so technically you could visit the grounds at any time. There are several sets of stairs to reach the shrine, but it is also accessible via an escalator from the main street below or via car.
If you only have time to visit one shrine in Tokyo, I would recommend Hie Shrine to see the tunnel of 90 red torii gates. #Japan #Tokyo
Sweet Escape to Mt. Fuji Recommendation 🍁🗻
Mount Fuji has been one of the most favorite places to visit in Japan. I had my #solotravel this early November with booking a- 1 Day tour from Tokyo Station pick up. I choose to pick a tour because Mt. Fuji is located quite far from Tokyo & to go from one place to other places it’s quite difficult with public transportation.
🌵Tips: Check the weather forecast before you plan to go in order to grab the great scenery! Also, avoid weekend if you can because it’s really jammed on on the way.
RECOMMENDED PLACES that I went to mesmerize the beauty of Mt. Fuji from different angles:
📍Arakuyama Sengen Park
We need to climb up the stairs around 10-15 minutes to reach the place with temple view. So, don’t wear heels! It’s super worth it to go here. There are some snacks bar & udon restaurants for our hungry stomach.
📍Fuji Kawaguchiko (Lake Kawaguchiko)
From the sideview of lake, we can see Mt. Fuji clearly. You can have a pleasant time to walk here with beautiful landscape.
📍Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi
It’s a walkable distance from Lake Kawaguchi. There are maple trees along the way. There are some souvenir shops as well. There are cafes, restaurants, convenience stores for buying drinks & foods.
It’s really a pleasant time to visit Mt. Fuji in the clear weather and in autumn time🍁🗻 I hope that you will have a good time here!

An hour train journey from Tokyo station to Kamakura station. Highly recommended although is long journey. But the non busy area is very calm and nice air for breathing. A must eat luch at Cafe Yoridokoro, the fish grilled until very crunchy and you need to stir the egg white and later pour on top of your rice to become a cloud to hold egg yolk. There is direct train package from Shinjuku to Fujisawa, you may have a look as this included the day pass for Enoden Line. #japan #kamakura #

Time travel through streets of Kyoto
#kyototrip #falltrip #japan
Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka are two prominent traditional streets which meet modern features in the quaint town of Kyoto. Streets are handsomely lined with cobblestones and on each sides you see tea houses, ryokans, souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes.
The hustle and bustle of these streets attracts both local and foreign tourists alike. So usually they are packed to the brim by noon.
To avoid the crowds, wake up earlier and hike to these location before sunrise and you have the streets to yourself!
Golden moments in Kamikochi
The highlight of my 1 week trip to Japan is visiting Kamikochi (上高地). It is only open between mid-Apr to mid-Nov every year. You can easily reach here by taking bus or train from Matsumoto.
This is definitely one of the best place to enjoying a nice hike in nature, admiring the autumn leaves and breathing in fresh mountain air. You can choose between several well crafted routes (flat terrains) which may take you between 2-4 hours. The temp in Oct was very cooling at 15-19 degrees and I even had an ice cream at my half way point. 😀
Highly recommend to add this to your Japan itinerary if you visit during autumn.

Konzenji Temple, established in 736 during the Nara period, was founded by Taicho Daishi, who received an imperial edict in a dream from Emperor Shomu. In 811, Kobo Daishi conducted a memorial service, and the temple became an inner temple of Kehi Shrine. During the Nanbokucho Dynasty, it played a role in a decisive battle led by Emperor Go-Daigo's princes. In 1662, the Kannon-do was rebuilt at its current location, later destroyed in a 1945 U.S. Air Force bombing raid. The 11-faced Kannon statue survived, and after evacuation during the war, the main hall underwent reconstruction post-war, with subsequent repairs and expansions in 1951, 1952, and a full rebuild in 1989.
