An Authentic Sevillan Stay 🇪🇸

It's important to be impartial, but Casa Bailén Apartments Sevilla was the best accommodation I had throughout my journey travelling through Spain and Portugal. Situated just a stone's throw away from the iconic historical landmarks and attractions, especially the Old Town, Casa Bailén was an absolutely beautiful, clean, and elegant hotel-apartment choice.
Adjacent to the hotel (Honest San Pedro), you'll be greeted by the friendliest and most enthusiastic check-in staff, eager to give the best recommendations on Sevilla. You'll receive instructions on how to access the apartments and your room - a simple 4-digit code on a touch-screen panel.
I stayed in the deluxe apartment, which was fabulous. Some quick facts:
- Generous 32sqm
- Separate living, kitchen, and bedroom area
- Comfortable sofa with LCD TV
- Fully-equipped kitchen with coffee maker and microwave (yay!)
- Gorgeous bathroom with sustainable amenities
- Comfortable wabi-sabi/bohemian themed bedroom with safe
- Small balcony overlooking a quaint, quiet street
- Rooftop jacuzzi (March to October)
Overall, the stay was amazing and I wish I stayed there a few nights more. Reception was reachable 24/7 via Whatsapp, and were so helpful whenever I asked questions. If coming to Seville, don't give this a miss as it's simply magical!

A Gothic Wonder!
Attraction name: Seville Cathedral
Location: Seville, southern Spain.
Seville has many attractions and one of the most centrally located with historical significance is the cathedral.
The Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, better known as Seville Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral. You can see it from the main shopping streets in Seville.
You are allowed to enter the gates of the premises and look at the beautiful gothic architecture close up. Take a visit inside and learn more about the history of this place and be amazed!

Orange you glad you went to Seville? 🍊
Seville, Andalusia Spain
Seville is the capital and largest city in the Spanish province of Andalusia. It is most famous for it’s oranges, cathedral and pastries and it should be high on the list of cities to see in Spain. A 2 hour drive from Costa Del Sol it’s a nice change of pace from the beach life of the coast.
The city has stunning architecture, wide boulevards and plenty of historical landmarks to enjoy. The cathedral itself is stunning, it’s one of the largest churches in the world and the sheer scale of it is hard to comprehend until you step inside. The original features have been well maintained and there is so much history to take in, including the tomb of world renowned explorer Christopher Columbus.
The city itself is very walkable and there is a lot of visible navigation, if you need help there are lots of tourist information points and very efficient public transport.
I really enjoyed the cafe culture and even visiting in the winter it was nice to sit outside with a coffee and pastry and watch the world go by.
During the summer months you can see the infamous orange trees lining the streets and the cafes will sell the freshest orange juice you can get. Combine this with tapas and pastries and the city really is a wonderland for food

The Rustic City Of Siville
#wecreate #spain #seville #historical #oldtown #spanish #city #urbanexplorer #unesco
Seville City is located in the southern region of Spain just on the top of Gibraltar. An old rustic city that dated all the way back to almost 1940 or more. You will be able to see beautiful structures and design of castle like buildings set during the roman times and Jewish quarters and old bars situated all around the city of seville.
This place is also popular among tourists due to its world renowned bull fights and the Spanish tapas(they are like small little snack like dishes). Seville is also said to now be under the UNESCO Heritage list as well!
The Highlight of Seville
Location: Seville city, Spain.
Getting there: Fly from most major European cities or take the train from Madrid or Malaga.
Name: Plaza de Espana is the most famous landmark in Seville and definitely the most photogenic. Built in 1928, this architecture masterpiece is worth visiting. Surrounding the plaza are fountains, bridges and classic pillars to admire.
I recommend spending a few hours here. It's free of charge and you can really take your time to enjoy the intricacies of the design.

Metropol Parasol
Seville hosts the world’s largest wooden structure: Metropol Parasol, also known as Las Setas. It's an amazing piece of modern architecture in the center of the city.
I recommend paying the small entry fee to climb the stairs to the top. From the top you can look closely at the design and get panoramic views of Seville city.

Mushrooms of Seville
Setas de Sevilla ("Mushrooms of Seville") or Las Setas ("The Mushrooms"), initially titled Metropol Parasol, is a wooden structure located at La Encarnación square in the old quarter of Seville, Spain. It was designed by the German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in April 2011. It has dimensions of 150 by 70 metres and an approximate height of 26 metres and claims to be the largest wooden structure in the world. Its appearance, location, delays and cost overruns in construction resulted in much public controversy.

Royal Palace of Seville.
The Alcazar (Royal Palace) of Seville is one of the city’s most enchanting, and most popular, historic monuments. Along with the Cathedral and Archive of the Indies, it is recognised as UNESCO World Heritage.
Visitors can walk through magnificent salons boasting tiled walls and intricate plasterwork, courtyards with beautiful pools, and delightful gardens; parts of the palace are similarly awe-inspiring as the Alhambra, but on a smaller scale. If some areas looks familiar, that’s because several salons and parts of the garden were used as locations for Game of Thrones.
Getting There - By taxi, tram or bus. But best to go by foot as it is near the city historical centre.
Attractions - The amazing architecture.
Hotels - Many hotels nearby to suit all budgets.
Food & Restaurants - There in a restaurant and a cafe in the complex.
Shopping - Souvenirs shopping is available in the complex.

Seville is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Andalusia. You should plan to spend at least 4 days there.
So here are some tips if you don't know this beautiful city yet. Of course you will have to visit the must-see places, such as the Casa de Pilatos, a beautiful palace that I advise you to visit at the end of the day before sunset because the light is amazing at this time of the day. You will also visit the Royal Alcazar, a palace with Moorish architecture. But first of all, book your ticket in advance to avoid wasting too much time. Count 2 to 3 hours for the visit of the rooms as well as a stroll in its superb gardens. Some scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed here.
The other iconic place in Seville is the Plaza de Espana. It's best to get there early in the morning to avoid the crowds which can be very large.
Seville is also the perfect city to take great pictures. #awesomepic #unforgettableexperiences #couplestrip #instagramworthydestinations #movielocations #seville

Little gem in the heart of Santa Cruz Sevilla
We fell in love with this hotel!!! And we didn’t want to leave!
Centrally located, you’ll find La Setas de Sevilla around the corner.
This hotel is in the middle of the main city landmarks.
We enjoyed walking, having a café frappe at Holy Roll, and we loved eating at Malvaloca!
The hotel is super cute, well deaigned, cleaned (it smells so good!), and the rooms have more than you can imagine! The rooms are made everyday and they are spacious! you can even do some yoga or stretching in the room if you like, the equipment is in your room!
The staff is super nice, professional, and friendly…
WHAT ELSE?!
Just book and see it for yourself!
Sevilla is beautiful!

#seville or #sevilla in Spanish is definitely my favourite city all around the Iberian peninsula. It is one of the largest cities in Andalucia. It offers many attractions for the tourist. There are canals like these in Venice on the main square and also here is one if the largest parks in Spain
