Longest Reclining Buddha in Malaysia !
#tripxplorproject
During my visit to Wat Chayamangkalaram in Penang, Malaysia, I was captivated by the rich history and vibrant culture that permeated every corner of this ancient temple. Established in 1845, its roots delve deep into the past, tracing back to a diplomatic gesture between the British Empire and the Siamese Rattanakosin Kingdom.
As I wandered through its sacred grounds, I couldn't help but feel the weight of centuries of tradition and reverence. The temple's architecture, adorned with intricate details, spoke volumes about the devotion of its founders and the generations that followed.
One of the highlights of my visit was encountering the magnificent reclining Buddha statue, Phra Chaiya Mongkol, which spans an impressive length of 32 to 33 meters. Its sheer size and intricate craftsmanship left me in awe, and I couldn't resist marveling at the smaller statues of Buddha and Devas that adorned the main prayer hall.
But beyond its architectural wonders, Wat Chayamangkalaram holds a deeper significance as a cultural hub for the annual Songkran, Loy Krathong, and Vesak Day festivities. These vibrant celebrations bring together people from all walks of life, uniting them in the spirit of joy and spiritual renewal.
My experience at Wat Chayamangkalaram left a lasting impression on me, not only for its physical beauty but also for the sense of peace and tranquility that permeated its atmosphere. I urge anyone seeking a glimpse into Malaysia's rich cultural tapestry to visit this sacred temple and embark on their own spiritual journey.

Tha Tien Temple
a small neighborhood on the banks of the Chaophraya River with a long history, still retains its charm of the old neighborhood. Narrow streets, old buildings lined along both sides of the river, and the magnificent ancient Wa Aram temple. All are unique to Tha Tien, which attracts the attention of Thai and foreign tourists.
The highlight of the photo corner that I can't miss is the picture of Arun Temple in the evening light before sunset. Today, we are sipping a drink and enjoying the view at Arun Residence. Here you can see the Arun Residence in full, with the golden light of the setting sun. It's a beautiful picture.

Temple of Poseidon at Sunset
Amazing experience! I booked an excursion to visit the Temple Of Poseidon at sunset! I was blown away by how magical watching the sunset was right from the temple!
There are quite long queues to get your ticket to enter but once you do there is lots of space for people to take their photographs with the sunset backdrop!
Last entry in spring is 7:15pm so ensure that you have your tickets at the ready before the but off time so that you don’t miss out!
There is a bar/restaurant and also a souvenir shop at the entrance to the temple.
I would 100% recommend visiting this attraction! If you can, at sunset!

Wat pha Sorn Kaew the Magical Temple 🛕
#songkran2024
A temple in Thailand that must be seen is too magical!
Wat Pha Sorn Kaew is a very beautiful temple located on an 830 meter high peak between Phitsanulok and Lom Sak counties
The uniqueness of a temple lies in its decoration.
Whether it is the walls, pillars, or floors of the temple, they are all decorated with crushed marble, ceramic pieces, and ceramic cups
What's strange about Zui here is that five pure white sitting Buddha statues are different from those in other parts of Thailand. It is composed of five identical sitting Buddha statues with decreasing size

Best Temple in Ipoh
#tripxplorproject
The moment you step into the Sam Poh Tong Temple Area, you will see the beauty of the garden surrounding a large koi pond. With the green scenery and blooming flowers surrounding it, it makes your senses feel as if it becomes one with nature and your head will be refreshed. Other than the entrance, the rear of the cave also becomes a favorite for the visitor. It is where the beautiful Japanese-style pagoda and the turtle pond are located. Surrounded by the natural cliff makes a breathtaking environment.#temple #ipoh

🕯️ Land of Belief @ Wat Phu Man Fah 🛕
Visiting Wat Phu Man Fah in Buri Ram Province of Thailand is an extraordinary experience.
The scale of what is being constructed there is beyond our imagination. The temple complex is vast and stunning, spanning approximately 79 acres. The monk responsible for overseeing this monumental project informed us that it could take over 100 years to complete. It is his life's mission, dedicated not only to his own spiritual journey but also to the legacy he leaves for future generations.
Many people volunteer their time and resources to contribute to the temple's construction, driven solely by their faith and dedication. Monthly donations to the temple foundation are common, illustrating the depth of belief that drives this endeavor.
The sculptures, pagodas, and buildings within the temple grounds are both immense and exquisite. Even after spending a considerable amount of time exploring, we couldn't help but be awestruck by the magnitude of the work accomplished here. It truly stands as one of the greatest Buddhist temples we have ever had the privilege to visit.

I don't know why this place so underrated in Hsinchu, this place is really beautiful!

Address: No. 136, Mazugong 1st St, Annan District, Tainan City, Taiwan 709.
Highlights: The Luermen Mazu Temple is one of my favourite series of temples in Taiwan and probably the biggest there is. It is dedicated to Mazu but also to Buddha and some major taoists deities.
People here perform exorcisms, you can walk along the cute little canals, this is also a great place to look at the sunset with all the red colours of the temples coming through. It also has a different style compared to the temples in Tainan city.
I would also want to immerse myself in the serene ambiance of ancient temples in Hong Kong which offers a peaceful respite from the city's lively streets.

Address: No. 43, Xinsheng St, Guantian District, Tainan City, Taiwan 720
Highlights: The Long Tian Cha Cha Cultural Heritage Area is one of the must-visit in Tainan city. It is right next to Longtian Railway Station and is full of nostalgic railway style. You can stay there for about an entire afternoon with your family.

There is also the only bouncing hill and semi-outdoor sand pit in Taiwan where you can discharge your energy as much as you want. Some popular facilities require queuing in advance and have a limited number of people.
With this experience, I'm excited to immerse myself in Hong Kong's vibrant cultural festivals and celebrations throughout the year.

Tianmen Mountain, Gateway to Heaven
Just a cablecar ride away from Zhangjiajie, there is a Tianmen Mountain that is well famous for its serpentine road, catwalk around the mountain and Tianemn Cave, also known as Gateway to Heaven.
A cableride takes aprox. 20 minutes to reach teh top and in a ticket, there is also a shuttle bus down included (You can also buy 2-way cablecar ticket for additional 5 eur).
I would recommend taking half a day for the visit (Afternoon and wait until the sunset if weather is good) and to just explore the mountain all around.
There are restaurants with traditional chinese food up there, you can buy coffee, souvenirs, there is also a Burger King...

Thien Hau Temple: Must visit in HCMC
#hochiminhcity
Thien Hau Temple is a Chinese temple in Ho Chi Minh’s Chinatown. We scheduled this spot on our second day as this place is also far from the city center. We reached the temple via grab and arrived without much people in there. The gate is just along the road with the temple having a huge setback from the road. Reading from the websites, it was advised to dress modestly, thus lumping this place with other attractions that need modest dressing. The temple’s entrance isn’t that striking, it’s simple and typical Chinese architecture. When we got inside, the interior is much more intricate. The detailing and smell of incense would really make you mindful of the whole temple. We saw the famous incense rings and watched as others prayed and lit the incense rings with the temple staff helping them hang it onto the ceiling. We eventually tried it following what the previous people did and luckily the temple staff were able to converse with us on how to do it, and even encourage us to take photos while lighting the incense rings and pray. I can definitely recommend going here and try lighting up your own incense rings as this is a unique experience for a non-Buddhist like me.
