The highlights of this temple is to come and take pictures at what they call the Heavenly gate. On a clear day you can actually see Mt. Agung in the background. When we came it was cloudy but very cool pictures anyway.
🚐 From the parking lot you can take a shuttle bus up to the temple. At this place I would actually recommend taking the shuttle because it’s on a hill that is quite steep.
🎫 Once we arrived at the hotspot we had to pay the entrance and then we got a number. We were 151 and when we arrived they were at 106, so we did have to wait for a while. There are shades to hide under and they will announce your number on a speaker so that you don’t have to stand in line. I did not check the time but we might have waited for two hours.
📸 When it’s your turn you give them your phone and they will take pictures for you, they will use a mirror to get the special effect. Although there is a que we totally thought it was worth it.

This pagoda is renowned as one of the biggest temples in Southeast Asia right now. Bai Dinh Pagoda's name means meaning towards Mount Dinh, the place where heroic events took place in Vietnamese history.
Sadly when i came here it was raining all day long, so the sky is not clear. Im sure when the weather good, this temple will looks so beautiful. To visit this temple, you neet to use electric car first to reach the entrance gate of the temple. The temple area is also so big, you need at least 4 hours to visit them all.

Phuket's Majestic Temple Complex

Think of Thailand, think of ornate historical temples, decorated in yellow and gold, immaculately maintained architecture and features.
In Phuket, one must see the Wat Chalong (known locally as Wat Chaithararam) complex - a vast area of temples, holy sites, galleries, and an operational monastery!
The original temple, Wat Chaithararam, is believed to have been built in 1837, with the other buildings in the complex built much later. Apart from its majestic look, this complex features many relics and pilmigrage sites. The tallest building, with a 60m tall stupa (spire), features a bone relic of Lord Buddha on its top floor. From there, the view is spectacular - you can see extensive parts of Phuket on a clear day.
There is also a shrine dedicated to famous and venerable monks for people to make offerings. Likewise, an air conditioned museum replicates the original home in which 3 revered monks used to live in.
From time to time, you'll hear firecrackers go off - if someone's wishes made at this complex came true, they'll come back to set firecrackers off as a tribute!
One can easily spend hours here, so I recommend coming early. The complex is huge with many places of interest and historical significance. Bear in mind this isn't the beach, so dress modestly (cover your knees and shoulders) and remove hats when entering sheltered places.
Entry is free but do feel free to make donations!

Thean Hou Temple is an absolute masterpiece that you must visit in your trip to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
We were completely fascinated from the moment we stepped in. The architecture is incredibly breathtaking, the whole complex is well adorned with vibrant colours.
We expected the temple would be overcrowded because we went during the National Holiday but it wasn’t. The ambiance was totally serene. We really loved everything about it. We could say that this Chinese temple is one of the best that we have been so far in Asia.

The Thean Hou temple is a beautiful and photogenic temple located around 10 minutes away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur by driving and near to some famous tourist spots such as Little India in Brickfield and the Midvalley shopping mall. It opened since 1989 and built by the Hainanese people dedicating to the goddess Kuan Yin, goddess Tian Hou and goddess of the waterfront.
Highly recommend the tourists to visit the place especially during the Mid-Autumn festival, Chinese New Year and Wesak Day as there will be celebration with lots of cultural activities.

Inscribed in 1991 as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites in Sri Lanka, Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in the island country. The temple complex was built into five caves under overhanging rock and has been a sacred pilgrimage site since 22 centuries ago. The Buddhist mural paintings and statues in the caves are sights to behold.
The cave temple is located up on a hill 20 km from Sigiriya. The entrance ticket costs 2000 rupees per person and can only be bought at the ticket counter at the foot of the hill. From there we had to climb many flights of stairs to reach the entrance of the temple. The view of the the surrounding area on the way up was spectacular. Before entering the temple we had to remove our shoes so wearing socks is recommended. Remember to wear modest clothing that covers your knee and shoulder while visiting sacred sites. There are lots of street sellers outside the temple selling sarong. It is also possible to rent a sarong to cover your knees before entering the temple.

Usually, this temple will be opened daily from 6 am - 5.30 pm and The entrance is FREE of charge. However, it will be great if the worshiper would like to do the donation (any amount is welcomed) to upkeep the temple. You can also draw a fortune stick to tell your fortune in the coming year!!!
Tips: Visit in the early morning to avoid the crowd. Wear properly and remember to take off the shoes when entering the temple to show the respect🙏🏻

Perak Cave Temple is located by the main road under the Mountain Tasek and very accessible from the Perak Town.
Although it is not as magnificent as Kek Loong Tong Temple nearby to it, it is still a good place to visit to for photos taking and for Buddhist to worship here!!!
Start from the entrance, there will a Guan Yin statue in the middle of a small lotus pond, walking into the temple, you will see the 40 feet high Buddha statue and along the way up the staircases, there are plenty of small statues as well. On the top of the temple, you can even enjoy the beautiful scenery of the small town!!
If you are travelling from overseas, highly recommend to visit the suburban area in Malaysia such as Ipoh, Perak other than the big city in Kuala Lumpur and you will get to know more about our beautiful country❤️💜

Beijing Day trip - fresh mountain air ⛰️

We managed to go on a perfect blue sky day when Beijing was really showing its best self. It is about 84km from Sanlitun area in Beijing and we took a mini van to get there for a day trip. It’s located in the west of Beijing in Mentougou district. It took us about 2 hours to go and a little more to come back because of the traffic.
The signature building is as cool in real life as it is on pictures. Absolutely worth a trip if you like taking pictures and walk around. The place is surrounded by mountain and there are a few hikes you can do in the area. In my group of friends some of us went up to one of the peaks and some of us relaxed by the temple.
Although it’s a long drive to get there it was completely worth it in my opinion. Have been wanting to go for a long time and finally founds some friends that came along.
We were recommended to bring our own food so we had a picnic in the sun outside a very nice tea restaurant. They let us eat our food as long as we bought some drinks. 2-3 hours is enough time to walk around.
