Weekend Getaway to Bangkok
Last weekend i went to Bangkok for a super short weekend getaway to Bangkok, Thailand.
Bangkok is truly a haven for shopaholics, shopping malls and cheap deals is literally everywhere! You'll be spoilt for choice, trust me in this one.
If you're into sightseeing, you won't be at disadvantage too. There's definitely alot of places to explore, especially along the Chao Phraya River. Wat Arun and Grand Palace is one of the many places.
It's a win-win situation for all!
Which wat is what in Bangkok
#bangkoktrip
So much to see & do in this bustling city. Easiest way to get around is on the underground. Tap in and out with your bank card to save the hassle of buying tickets - just know where to alight before you board. There are plenty of route maps on the train together with electronic boards.
If you want to travel by tuk tuk - negotiate the price first - they are not always cheaper than taxis. The Grab taxi app is a handy tool.
Cash withdrawals from ATM’s attract a THB 20 fee regardless of the amount so restrict yourself to larger transactions.
There are numerous temples (wats) in the city- each highly ornate and fascinating- you can soon tire of these spectacles though, so check the guides to select the ones you wish to see.
Capturing Tranquility: Wat Arun's Timeless Beauty
In the heart of Bangkok, a hidden gem awaits - Wat Arun. This serene temple, adorned with intricate Thai Traditional Clothes, offers a lifetime experience for those seeking cultural beauty and spirituality. As I ventured to this timeless wonder with a dear friend, I embarked on a journey that would forever etch itself in my memory.
Wat Arun's allure lies not only in its breathtaking architecture but in the spiritual ambiance that envelops every corner. The temple's resplendent attire beckoned us to capture its essence. Armed with my trusty Fujifilm camera, I set out on a solo photo adventure, determined to preserve the temple's aura in its purest form - no editing required.
My friend and I decided to visit Wat Arun after 16:00, a choice that proved to be perfect. The late afternoon sun cast a warm, golden glow, enhancing the temple's beauty. Within an hour, we had explored every nook and cranny, our lenses drinking in the rich tapestry of Thai tradition.
The pièce de résistance was the sunset over the river. Wat Arun's silhouette against the fading light was a sight to behold, and we marveled at the harmony of nature and architecture. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we were left with a sense of profound tranquility.
This visit to Wat Arun was not just about photographs; it was a spiritual journey, a bonding experience with a dear friend, and a testament to the enduring beauty of Thai culture. I wholeheartedly recommend scheduling your visit in the late afternoon, allowing you to capture the essence of this extraordinary temple while basking in the serene glow of the sunset.
So, fellow travelers and photography enthusiasts, embrace the magic of Wat Arun with your own lens. Let its timeless elegance and spiritual aura speak to your soul, just as it did to mine.

Patong Beach Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Sep)
Sun, sand, rain and smiles: Phuket unveiled
Patong is a vibrant beach town in Phuket, Thailand, offering a mix of excitement and relaxation. The lively nightlife with numerous bars and clubs caters to partygoers, while the beautiful sandy beaches provide a serene escape. However, it can get crowded and noisy. Street vendors, restaurants, and shops offer a variety of options, but haggling is common. Beware of tourist traps and inflated prices. The local culture is rich, and nearby attractions like Big Buddha and Phi Phi Islands are worth exploring. Overall, Patong is ideal for those seeking a bustling beach destination with a taste of Thai culture.#patongbeach #phuket #thailand #beaches
Sunset Spot - Patong Beach 🌅
#wecreate
Seeking for vitamin-sea, adventure and vibrant nightlife in Phuket? Patong beach is perfect for you. Despite the crowded road, the beach side is quite peaceful and you still can have your own space to walk around or enjoy the breathtaking sunset there.
If you’re an adrenaline junkie, there’s a few water sports that you can do such as jet skiing, parasailing, scuba diving and snorkelling. The price is reasonable too. Beside sunset and water sports, you can also walk to Bangla road to grab food, drinks or souvenirs. Its more crowded after 7pm since the bar and club is open.
Just a heads up in case you’re thinking about swimming at the beach unfortunately the waves is quite strong and only water sports is allowed

Paradise Unveiled: A 6-Night Journey through Enchanting Phuket
During my 6-night trip to Phuket, I had the pleasure of experiencing some truly unforgettable moments with my partner. Phuket offers a multitude of romantic experiences that are perfect for couples seeking a memorable getaway. Here are some of my top recommendations:
Private Beach Picnic: Arrange a private beach picnic for you and your partner. Select a secluded spot on one of Phuket's beautiful beaches and indulge in a delicious spread of gourmet treats while relishing in the serenity of the surroundings. It's an intimate experience that will create lasting memories.
Couples Spa Retreat: Treat yourselves to a rejuvenating couples' spa retreat. Phuket boasts world-class spas that offer a range of indulgent treatments. Enjoy a relaxing massage side by side or opt for a pampering spa package that includes facials, body scrubs, and aromatic baths, leaving you both feeling completely blissed out.
Romantic Dinner on the Beach: Surprise your partner with a romantic dinner on the beach. Many resorts and restaurants offer private dining experiences right on the shoreline. With the sound of the waves, flickering candlelight, and a delectable menu of Thai or international cuisine, it's an idyllic setting for a romantic evening.
Phuket truly provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic couple's experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, romantic activities, and warm Thai hospitality will make your trip an unforgettable one.

Patong Beach.
✅We belong to lazy travelers, mainly switching hotels for fun.
✅Patong Beach is like a paradise for our family of three, with so much delicious food and fun activities. We previously stayed at the Amari Resort and spent three days in complete relaxation mode, but after moving to Patong Beach, we started having a happy time.
✅Our hotel, Phuket Bura Resort, is very close to Patong Beach. The beach is just 50 meters away from the hotel, and there are various restaurants, pharmacies, and massage shops nearby, including a 7-Eleven. The hotel is located on the main street, making it convenient to go anywhere.
✅Every day we go to Two Brothers Restaurant for meals. The taste is really good and suits our taste. The price is also reasonable, around 1000 pigs per meal, which is not bad considering how much we eat and drink.
✅We didn't go to the bar street at night, it's not suitable with kids, we just passed by and took some photos.
✅Every night we will have a small drink at the bar across from Patong Beach.
✅Currently, my impression of Thailand is quite good. I will definitely go back again when the airfare is cheaper.
❤️Recommended hotels with good location in Patong Beach:
1️⃣ Burasari Hotel
2️⃣Phuket Holiday Hotel
⏰Suggested duration of visit: 3 days
🌸Recommended restaurant:
☑️Two Brothers Restaurant
📌Tips:
1️⃣Take measures to prevent sunburn and mosquito bites.
2️⃣Protect your belongings and personal safety.
3️⃣Go to a less remote place and stay away from the place where they sell 🍃.
4️⃣Use Bolt or Grab for taxi rides.

Bangkok Street Foods 😋
This is bangkok Street Foods in front of the Central World Supermarket. Inside there were many ranging from local to not so local street foods that looks super delicious. Although because I'm not good with spicy stuff have to make sure asking the sellers everytime. Inside the market the space is kind of small and there were many people so you have to decide fast in what you want and order it immediately. You can both eat inside or outside it is up to you although I recommend to eat outside, just remember to throw your trash afterwards.

All in One Central Mall
The address is at 4,4/1,4/2,4/4 Room No.B106-B108, Ground Floor, Central World Bldg, Rajadamri Rd, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand
One of my favourite shops in centralworld is the naraya shop. The shop is always filled with tourists from around the world. I personally love the fabric material as well as the various designs. Usually I would buy their handbag for my relatives, and cosmetic pouches for my friends and colleagues. The price is great and affordable.
After my shopping, I would go to the restaurants located on the higher floor to have dinner with my family. There are various cuisine selections to suit your taste buds. I will strongly recommend the central world mall to everyone when you are visiting Bangkok the next time.
