Teshima Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Teshima
You can take a ferry to access to this one of the most beautiful islands around Kagawa. It is pretty small to explore but feels so good for just relaxing and spending time with great nature. About transportation, unfortunately there are not so many buses however, you can rent a car or even bikes that is enough for exploring all around the island.
A good place to take a small fresh film, Seto Inland Sea, Toshima!
Seto Inland Sea's favorite island - Toshima! People who have been to say this!
Fengdao's terrain is very suitable for taking pictures, if the weather is good, really take a big shot! Unfortunately, when we went, it was cloudy, and the color of the sea was not good! Even so, we feel that Toshima is very good!
Same as Naoshima, because we have Japanese friends, we still choose to drive! Due to the closure of the museum, all the works of art are not open to the public, so we transferred Fengdao two times in more than two hours!
Fengdao has a lot of beautiful places to take pictures, restaurants on the beach, roads leading to the sea, street signs on the beach, even if the weather is bad, it feels very good! You can also imagine how good it will be when you shoot it on a sunny day!
Fengdao must be the island that I will buy back again. Next time I must rent a bicycle and ride slowly! ! We must make up the art museum that we did not visit!
Transportation: To Toshima, you can choose to go to the port of Uno, or take a boat in Takamatsu Port! Toshima has a bus to the Toshima Museum of Art, but it is best to rent a bicycle and ride slowly! !
Photo Guide: Toshima is very suitable for taking small fresh photos. You can wear elegant skirts and straw hats as much as possible. The colors can be white or green or blue!
Taking the Takamatsu of Kagawa Prefecture, the four Japanese countries, as the main axis, around the Seto Inland Sea, there are some small islands of literature and art, the most famous ones are Shodoshima, Naoshima, Toshima.
This time I gave up Naoshima and came to Toshima. I only saw a lot of beautiful pictures on the Internet in advance, and I feel more like the blue sky and blue sky of Toshima and the beautiful scenery of the beautiful island.
Highlights on the island
If you want to travel in a literary way, be sure to come to Seto Inland Sea! The places that are favored by the artists are all works of art. The trash cans that are as small as the museums can be called art. Among the many small islands in the Seto Inland Sea, Naoshima and Toshima are must-see, and both of them have a lot of artistic highlights on the island!
Toshima must punch:
1 Toshima Museum: An art gallery with no exhibits, the building itself is a work of art, and it looks like a drop of water embedded on a hillside. There are also a lot of small water droplets on the ground. Standing inside is very ethereal, listening to the wind is very comfortable, is one of my favorite art museums!
2 Tokushima Yokoo: The work of the artist Yokoo Hiroshi is transformed from three Japanese-style old houses. It looks very traditional outside. There is a cave in it. It is a modern art museum worth seeing~
3 sea restaurant: In addition to the art gallery, this sea view restaurant in Toshima is also better than punching cards! The glass shed for the open-air seating is on the seashore and faces west. You can see the superb sunset seascape in the evening. I ordered the signature olive-tasta rice, the Seto inland sea is rich in olives, the cows are eating olives and growing up, and the Iberian black pigs eating acorn have a fight.
PS: This year is the Seto Inland Sea Art Year. The 2019 Seto Inland International Art Festival will open immediately next month. There will be more works of art to watch, and there will be free PASS for the festival. Visit a lot of art galleries on the island~~

Visiting Osaka Castle with my beautiful girlfriend was an enchanting experience that blended history and romance seamlessly. The moment we approached the grand castle's majestic walls, we were captivated by its sheer magnificence. The rich history echoed in every stone, and the sprawling park around it provided a serene backdrop for our leisurely stroll.
Ascending to the top of the castle offered panoramic views of Osaka, a perfect setting for a memorable photo with my love. Inside, the museum brought to life the castle's past, adding depth to our visit.
Osaka Castle became more than just a historical landmark; it became a cherished memory of a day spent in each other's company, exploring a beautiful piece of Japan's heritage.
anyone miss Osaka visit? yes iam.. the food and environment nature make me calm.

How to Play on Shodoshima in the Summer: A Two-Day, One-Night Itinerary Here
Visiting Shodoshima in summer, I didn't go to Kankakei, one of Japan's three most beautiful gorges, mainly because it's famous for autumn leaves.
📆The two-day, one-night itinerary on Shodoshima mainly covers three attractions:
Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village~Olive Park~Angel Road
➡️Departing from Takamatsu Port, it only takes an hour by ferry to reach Shodoshima. Head to the Shodoshima International Hotel near Angel Road to drop off your luggage, then take the bus directly to the farthest Twenty-Four Eyes Movie Village
This is a small village by the sea, where the movie 'Twenty-Four Eyes' was filmed. Strolling through the village, you'll see the early Showa era's old-time charm, as if walking through a time tunnel.
➡️Next, take the bus to Olive Park, and be sure to notice the bus stop, which is made from a giant soy sauce barrel.
Because Shodoshima's climate is very similar to the Mediterranean, olives are also abundant here. Olive Park has a windmill with Greek flair. Don't forget to borrow a broom from the visitor center and cosplay a scene from 'Kiki's Delivery Service' here.
➡️Finally, return to the Shodoshima International Hotel, where Angel Road is located. With the ebb and flow of the tide, the sandy path to the small island in the sea appears and disappears, and it's only accessible at specific times each day, making it a popular path of love for many couples.
🛥Shodoshima Ferry:
The most convenient way to Shodoshima is from Takamatsu Port, which has the most frequent services.
There are also ferries from Okayama Port, Himeji Port, and Kobe Port on Honshu, but the services are less frequent, so it's important to plan your time wisely.
Check-in at Kagawa@Take a walk on the romantic Angel Road on Shodoshima
Angel Road is located on Shodoshima in Kagawa, and it requires a round trip by boat from Takamatsu.
Angel Road is a small path that appears at low tide and disappears at high tide, connecting a small island. Therefore, the official website will announce the low tide time every day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and you can arrange your itinerary according to the low tide time.
The island is not big, with strange rocks on the island, and there are small sailboats on the distant sea. Angel Road is known as a lover's sanctuary, and there is a bell on a slope on the shore. Not only can you ring the bell, but you can also overlook Angel Road.
There are many attractions on Shodoshima, and it is very rushed in one day. It is recommended to arrange two to three days, and don't forget to taste the island's special ice cream, olive flavor and soy sauce flavor ice cream.
This winter, take Doraemon to Takamatsu to play with Slowpoke!
This trip to Takamatsu, I brought Doraemon to find Slowpoke to play! Before I came, I heard that Takamatsu Kagawa Prefecture is the hometown of Slowpoke. After arriving here, I indeed encountered many cute items with Slowpoke elements, such as the manhole covers of the central shopping street, snacks and dolls, but the most surprising thing is the 'Slowpoke-themed ferry' from 'Takamatsu to Shodoshima'!
Boarding the ferry, we can not only encounter Slowpoke in various poses, selling cute in every corner of the ferry, but also take pictures with Slowpoke, and sit on the chair with Slowpoke elements to watch the sea and listen to the waves. There are also Slowpoke co-branded snacks on the ship, and Slowpoke udon noodles for sale, which is really great!

The small and freshly owned Shodoshima in the Seto Inland Sea is the most famous of the many small islands in the Seto Inland Sea.
The island is big compared to other islands, but the hotel is not a lot of choices. The Shodoshima International Hotel is the most famous one. After staying, I feel that the overall experience is really great, set service, scenery, small fresh In one.
Each room in the hotel is a sea view room, oversized windows and beautiful scenery, the room is large, it is best to make a reservation in advance, otherwise it is easy to order with the Western-style room, and there is a bed in the Western-style room. There is also a tatami room, which is very special. In the peak season, the room has four digits and one night. If the time is free, it is best to avoid weekends and holidays, which can be much cheaper.
The famous angel trail is next to the hotel. You can see it outside the window. If you have nothing, you can go for a walk.
The hotel's service is very good. There are shuttle buses to and from the pier every day. No matter which island you go to, you can choose a shuttle bus. It is best to talk to the hotel reception. If you come by Takamatsu by boat, you can also call the hotel in advance and let them arrange the car to pick it up. The hotel has a Chinese speaking staff, which is especially warm.
The hotel has a special feature. If you choose not to clean the room, they will send a 1000 yen voucher to buy something at the store in the hotel. There are also toiletries in the lobby every day, such as rubber bands, hair clips, bathing, socks, coffee and more. Rice balls are also served every evening, and olive-flavored tea can be drunk.
There is a bathrobe and slippers in the room. It is used for hot springs at night, and you dont have to bring anything.

The Scenic Shodoshima Island
Japan has finally reopen its door to the world where no testing is required upon arrival into the country.
There is always so much to explore in Japan where people will head to popular placesike kobe, osaka, Tokyo, narita.
But if you are someone who loves scenic views looking out from a small island, shodoshima island is the place to be where it is situated in the setouchi sea. My utmost recommendation, since you are a travel rent a car on the island itself and not when going to the island, saves you the convenience and the money too!
The view from Shodoshima island is breathtaking, and you can visit the olive Park, for outdoor fanatic you can climb the kankakei Gorge or take a walk at the angel road. Small island but many things to do ^^

Angel Road in Tonosho Town: A romantic place to make wishes come true with your loved one
📍👉Angel Road in Tonosho Town, Japan, is a sandy path that appears and disappears with the tides, connecting four small islands next to Shodoshima. It is a romantic spot and one of the 'Lovers' Sacred Sites' recognized by the Japan National Tourism Organization. The attractions of Angel Road are as follows:
1️⃣Sandy Path: This is the main feature of Angel Road, which only appears twice a day during low tide, allowing visitors to stroll in the sea and experience the wonders of nature. It is said that if you walk hand in hand with your loved one on the sandy path, an angel will come and make your wishes come true.
2️⃣Yushima: This is the largest of the small islands connected by the sandy path. There is a small shrine where visitors can write down their wishes, hang them on a tree, and pray for the blessing of the angels. The island also has some stone carvings and flowers, adding an artistic touch.
3️⃣Shop: This is a small shop next to the sandy path, selling local products and souvenirs such as olive oil, noodles, and wooden prayer plaques. Visitors can buy some souvenirs or gifts for friends and family here.
Tips for visiting Angel Road are as follows:
1️⃣🚗Transportation: Angel Road in Tonosho Town is located in the southeast of Shodoshima. You can take a bus from Tonosho Port and arrive in 10 minutes. You can take a ferry from Takamatsu City or Okayama City to Tonosho Port. The ferry runs every hour, with a choice of high-speed ferry (30 minutes) or car ferry (60 minutes).
2️⃣🎫Tickets: Angel Road in Tonosho Town is open for free, no tickets or reservations are required.
3️⃣⏰Opening hours: There are no fixed opening hours for Angel Road in Tonosho Town, but it is generally recommended to go during the day as there may be some unsafe factors at night. The low tide time varies with the seasons, so be sure to check the low tide schedule before sightseeing.
4️⃣⚠️Precautions: When visiting Angel Road in Tonosho Town, please note the following:
• 🫡Respect the local residents and culture, do not take pictures or disturb their lives at will.
• 💰Pay attention to personal and property safety, do not accept invitations or gifts from strangers at will, and do not believe in street peddling or begging.
• 🙅♂️Do not litter or damage the environment on the sandy path, keep the sandy path clean and beautiful.
• 🙅Do not run or play on the sandy path to avoid falling or getting injured, and pay attention to the change of tide, return to the shore in time.
Its best to go at dusk, because every night, the sky above the Angel Road often has a dreamy color. But be sure to look at the time, or after the tide, this mysterious and romantic angel's road will disappear~
My friends and I didnt catch up the first afternoon, so the first I got up early in the next two days and came again.
When we look at the window where we live, we can clearly see this road, watching it gradually submerge at night, and then appear again after the tide has ebbed in the morning.
It's not too short to see the distance, and it will look very close to the scene because of the perspective. Blowing the sea breeze, the blue sea outlines the beautiful path of the angel road, and the small bean island must come to punch this precious dream land~
