Trip.com is thrilled to announce the launch of its newly upgraded membership tiers, bringing more value and exclusive rewards to its loyal customers. With the introduction of a new membership tier and travel rewards for all members, users can enjoy unparalleled perks and enhanced services that bring their experiences to new heights.
Launch of Diamond+ Membership Tier:
As part of the revamped Trip.com Rewards program, the new Diamond+ tier has been introduced, representing the pinnacle of membership. Diamond+ members enjoy superior rewards, including:
- Premium customer support
- Airport transfer upgrades (to premium models)
- Exclusive perks like free attraction tickets
To qualify for Diamond+, members must spend a minimum of USD $10,000 within a year after reaching the Diamond tier.
New Upgrade Requirements
Trip.com has also introduced a more optimised upgrade system for moving up the membership tiers, providing loyal users with higher-value perks and enhanced services. Here’s a breakdown of the upgrade rules for each tier:
- Silver: Register to start earning rewards.
- Gold: Complete 1 eligible booking.
- Platinum: Complete 3 eligible bookings within a year after reaching Gold.
- Diamond: Complete 8 eligible bookings (min. USD $1,000) within a year after reaching Platinum.
- Diamond+: Spend USD $10,000 within a year after reaching Diamond.
Members who meet the requirements for the next membership tier will have their upgraded tier automatically reflected in their Trip.com account with a 1 year validity period.
Members who meet the requirements of their current membership tier at the end of the validity period will have their status automatically extended for another year. Failure to do so will result in a membership tier downgrade.
Exciting Rewards and Perks
Trip.com members can also look forward to a range of expanded rewards:
- Trip Coins: All members earn Trip Coins, a rewards currency offered by Trip.com, redeemable across the platform. Gold and higher-tier members earn additional Trip Coins, with Diamond+ members earning up to 50% more than Silver members.
- Hotel deals and insurance discounts: Members enjoy exclusive hotel deals at every tier. Hong Kong users can benefit from new insurance discounts, offering up to 10% off for Platinum members and above.
- VIP support: Diamond+ members now receive Priority Support for calls and chats, along with a new One-Stop VIP Service which is an enhanced, seamless service. This is available in multiple languages, including English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Thai, German, Italian and Arabic.
- Airport VIP lounge access: Platinum, Diamond, and Diamond+ members enjoy complimentary lounge access, with the number of free visits increasing based on each tier.
- No refund handling fees for trains: No handling fees from the Gold tier onwards, with up to 8 annual waivers as you advance through the tiers.
New & Exclusive Rewards:
- Free global eSIM data package: (Platinum members and above): Provides a convenient global data solution for travellers, with up to 3GB for 5 days, available twice a year.
- Airport transfer model upgrades: (Diamond members and above): Enjoy complimentary upgrades on airport transfer services.
- Free attraction tickets: (Diamond+ members): Receive one free attraction ticket per year
This newly revamped Trip.com Rewards program will officially roll out in October 2024, in conjunction with Trip.com Group’s 25th anniversary, offering a range of exciting rewards designed to make travel more convenient and rewarding.
