Lao Taimen Soup Dumpling is a Cantonese dim sum restaurant. I never thought that in Nanxiong, a small city in northern Guangdong, I could still eat traditional Lingnan cuisine. Lunjiao cake is 1.7 yuan per piece, double skin milk is 2.5 yuan, and red beans are free. Unfortunately, it is just ordinary stewed egg milk without skin. The taste is still great!

- Zhoupi Ice Flower Cake: A traditional snack from Wengyuan County, it boasts a beautiful appearance, a sweet and crispy texture, and a unique craftsmanship, making it a popular favorite. 

Ci Ci

- Jiaoli Ci: A common street food in Nanxiong, Jiaoli Ci is made by soaking white glutinous rice in a watery solution of yellow gardenia, grinding it into a paste, and then boiling it. The paste is then rolled into thin round slices and filled with sauerkraut, eggplant, chili peppers, and other fillings. It resembles dumplings and is steamed and ready to eat.  

- Guxia Guhua Ci: A specialty snack from Guxia Village, Fuxi Town, Renhua County, popular during the Hezhai Festival on the second day of the sixth lunar month. Made by popping the flowers of high-quality glutinous rice in a wood-fired pot, it boasts a golden color, crispy skin, and fragrant filling, with a sweet but not greasy texture.

- Huishui Ci: Also known as &quot;glutinous rice ci&quot; or &quot;water ci,&quot; it&#39;s made by melting the ash of the mountain Huangyuan tree in water, filtering it, and then mixing it with glutinous rice to form a paste. It has a crisp and tender flavor and a cooling effect, known for its heat-relieving, detoxifying, and stomach-strengthening properties. 

Others

- Changlai Egg Rice Cake: A local snack from Changlai Town in southern Lechang. This dish uses chopped bean sprouts, pork, and white radish as a filling, seasoned with spices. Steamed rice paste is then cut into circles to wrap the filling. Rolled into egg shapes, it&#39;s then steamed in a steamer for a mellow and fragrant flavor.

- Renhua Huatang Palace Radish: Made with fresh, pickled seasonal radish, this dish combines sour, crisp, sweet, and spicy flavors for a refreshing and delicious souvenir.  

- Zhoupi Rice Dumplings: A traditional Hakka snack from Wengyuan County with a century-old history. Using rice paste instead of flour for the wrapper, the dumplings are filled with fresh meat and mushrooms.
