A short trip from Aranya Auditorium in Qinhuangdao is so relaxing! Our first stop was Aranya Auditorium. The white building stood proudly on the seashore. Every photo I took was a cinematic experience. 📸 After the romantic escape from Qinhuangdao, I took the high-speed rail to Shenyang. My first priority was to try a local favorite: Old Four Seasons Noodles with Chicken Wings (Shuaifu Branch). The chewy noodles were saturated with rich broth, and the chicken wedges were torn apart and chewed, each time becoming more and more fragrant. This is the true way to experience Shenyang. 🍜 Travel fatigue was easily alleviated by the Shenyang Haozer Ruili Hotel by HOLZ (Shenyang Olympic Sports Center Yingpan Street Subway Station Branch). The staff were friendly and efficient during check-in. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sinking into a cloud. Even the little details were thoughtful. The small sofa by the window was perfect for organizing travel photos, and the quiet nights made for a good night's sleep. 💤 The next day, before leaving, we had breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The variety was delicious and it refueled us for a full day. A comfortable stay is a travel bonus! The most "unreasonable" hotel I've ever stayed in Shenyang, which converted the century-old Officers Club into a Republican-era aesthetics museum. Every inch of the space challenges the mediocrity of chain hotels. When the morning light penetrates the Baroque stone columns and shines on the foreground, it feels like walking into the set of Hou Hsiao-hsien's film. The XGIMI projector in the room turns the screen into a Wong Kar-wai-style neon canvas. You can soak in the bathtub and watch the silhouette of the Forbidden City’s eaves, while the lines from “The Grandmaster” automatically come to your mind in the mist. The details are crazy to the point of being ridiculous: I was surprised to see how dominant this white building is when I checked out - the Forbidden City is on the right and Zhongjie Street is on the left. Next time you come, please weld me and the Republic of China style front desk together!
