Zigui navel oranges have unique growing conditions. Zigui is located at the head of the Three Gorges Dam reservoir, with very few industrial production activities, and has preserved pure soil and water sources away from pollution. It has a good ecology, and is shielded by the Qinba Mountains on the back. The regulation of the natural water system of the Three Gorges Dam makes Zigui a unique warm winter climate zone in my country. Zigui uses the altitude difference to find suitable development areas for different navel orange varieties. It is one of the earliest regions in China to achieve "Lunwan in spring, Xiacheng in summer, Jiuyuehong in autumn, and Newhall in winter" with fresh oranges in all seasons, and locks in the best location for the growth of different varieties of navel oranges.
