TheForkUserNice restaurant with good food. We were a bit disappointed concerning the wine list as well as the selection of the accompanying wines - so close to the Cahors appellation, we would have expected a better selection of Cahors wines accompanying our five courses.
TheForkUserSadly we were all alone in this restaurant- the only one in the town that was open on a Monday evening. So the atmosphere was, inevitably, a bit sterile. But our waitress was delightful, and the food was good to excellent. The prawn starter was particularly good, with massive ‘gambas’. Local Cahors wine was also good - once it had warmed up a bit. A very pleasant way to spend a Monday night in February.
TheForkUserThis is lovely little family run restaurant serving quality rustic French cuisine. No frills but good ingredients well cooked and nicely presented. Service is extremely friendly and unhurried. We will definitely revisit next time we are in France. You’ve got to try the home made Baba au Rum!
TheForkUserAlways on our list to visit when in the area. The food is consistently good and the service is always friendly and welcoming.
TheForkUserWe had a fabulous time in this beautifully romantic setting. The staff were warm and very welcoming, food and service was outstanding, and we had a great conversation about France with Monsieur Matthias (hotel boss) and a lovely gentleman. Overall, it was a wholesome experience, and I would definitely recommend.
TheForkUserWe went on truffle market day and everyone was there for truffles. The truffle laden menu didn’t disappoint. Service was very friendly and there’s a quiet business like hum to the place. The food was exactly as described - well cooked, nicely presented and full of truffle. A good lunch of 3 courses for 2 with beers and a glass of wine plus coffee = €152 which given the ‘truffle with everything’ was good value
TheForkUserThis was not our first visit... we've been visiting the restaurant at the Hotel Terminus in its various guises for many, many years and never been disappointed.
TheForkUserWe had lunch and it was superb, as was the service and the pricing seemed very reasonable for the quality of the food and wine.
TheForkUser3 menu’s or a la carte. This is what you expect from the food from this region.Don’t forget to make a reservation else you might be disappointed.Enjoy the food and the service!
TheForkUserNice outside area, simple but nice food, lots of choice on the menu, large portions. Large drinking area, good for large groups as there is lots of tables outside.
TheForkUserWe have been trying to eat at this place for a long time but due to business requirements it just was not possible. We finally made it………Fantastic!!!!! We will try and get back ASAP
TheForkUserFamily owned restaurant, excellent local food and wine selection at a very reasonable price. In an old house, lovely setting. The waiter was friendly and accomodating, I am gluten free. Try their homemade corn bread! Outside seating possible and easy parking.
TheForkUserLovely but small place. Intimate. Service was a bit slow but the owner was working alone. Food was all lovely and home made. Really authentic Sicilian cuisine. Recommend the Cuttlefish spaghetti in its own ink, and the home made Cannoli. And Sicilian wine. Yum!
TheForkUserA traditional French restaurant with lovely food at a very reasonable price. Tender pork dish and a chocolate dessert to die for. Don’t be put off by the signage outside
