TheForkUserA culinary experience. Lots of fresh, well prepared food ready to be cooked at the table. Extensive menu. Great for a family occasion for everyone to get involved.
TheForkUserthis is one of our favourite places to eat whenever we have a family birthday or get-together. The food is beautifully prepared and presented, the service friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere welcoming. The only drawback is that we can't bring ourselves to try somewhere new!
TheForkUser100/100 for food, environment and services.Surprisingly good. We have read the review before come, portions looks small. Turnout portion is big and taste good. Love my freshly made fish and chips.Quiet and relaxing place.
TheForkUserA real experience! Indian good but not as you know it. Very creative and imaginative. The wine pairings were fabulous- potato and champagne, anyone?
TheForkUserAnother good experience at Toby. It is nice to have a waitress who remembers your preferred drink and offers it as soon as you are seated. A good variety of vegetables including leek crumble which I had not seen before and was very tasty. Cheap and cheerful but none the worse for that.
TheForkUserA very enjoyable experience. The food and wine were well presented and served very efficiently. The charges were very reasonable in these times of high inflation. The Staff were friendly and welcoming.
TheForkUserWe have used this carvery many times and the service was good. I must say that the place nees a make over. I wish to mention that Danielle was again working hard. She looks for work to be done and was doing it even in another area. She def needs a mention
TheForkUserOnly the best is good enough, the Parson Clerk takes some beating for excellence, the management (Stacey) welcomes customers with a delightful smile, so too are the staff who always show their customers with polite smiling greetings and are always there for their needs.
TheForkUserThe food and service is always excellent. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable helping you create the perfect mix of dishes to share. Good beer too!
TheForkUserVery attentive to detail, gave recommendations and excellent care towards myself and my family. 100% recommend this restaurant.
TheForkUserThe setting of the restaurant is ideal just off St Pauls Square so an older part of Birmingham.Car parking is located just round the corner which is a secure NCp car park. The Restaurant is modern and the ambience is lovely and ideal for couple dinner date. The booking process is easy and efficient and reception at the restaurant friendly and welcoming. The waitress staff are also efficient and friendly. The food is served without too much of a wait and it is delicious and there is excellent portions. The menu provides perfect choice with options for those with dietary requirements. All in all l feel it is an ideal restaurant for visitors to Birmingham and provides excellent value for money.
TheForkUserI’m always so happy to visit this little paradise. The staff are wonderful and food delicious. And having the gift shop and plant sales in the same place makes it like a trip to somewhere really special.
TheForkUserWe booked a table to celebrate my grandson’s first Easter. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely display for Easter with balloons etc. This provided a lovely photo opportunity for visiting families. My online request for seating was noted and we were sat in the perfect position, however all seating is well spaced at the Barnt Green Inn. We had the most wonderful server, Agne, who my 9 month old grandson promptly fell in love with. The visiting Easter Bunny was a wonderful touch. Our three course meal was delicious from start to finish. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Barnt Green Inn for a very happy and memorable day.
TheForkUserI am local and have always loved this place. I’m afraid we locals still refer to it as "The Foaming Jug". There is a lovely "olde worlde’ ambience about the place and the staff always so friendly and "nice". Needless to say the food is excellent.
TheForkUserWe booked for 12:30 thinking it would be quieter than 1… absolutely manic but the service was quick and the food was great. Had a short wait in a queue for the carvery but it was worth it. Food extremely fresh and staff busy swapping stuff over for freshly made food.Despite the business no issues and served good food quickly. Pudding and bottomless drinks also great. They didn’t actually have our Fork booking but got us in. No fault of the Fork - Toby had booked us somewhere miles away…
TheForkUserIm a support worker, and took a lady i support .she loved it.had alot of cats around us ,and they kept playing with us was lively
TheForkUserI visited with some family members for a meal to celebrate a birthday. We all thoroughly enjoyed the carvery meal a day thought that the staff were very helpful and friendly. The surroundings were also very good
TheForkUserI have had a lot of cream teas but I must say that this is my favourite ( other than the Ritz!). It’s great value for money, excellent selection of cakes and sandwiches and friendly staff in a comfortable environment.
TheForkUserNot our first time here, today Celebrated husbands birthday, 8 adults & 2 children under 3, service was good, food always good and good value for money.
TheForkUserReally nice and cosy French restaurant located in a hotel. Intimate and quiet vibe. Food and menu of high quality
TheForkUserBooked this for afternoon tea for the 2 of us, honestly was such good hospitality and service was not disappointed, also more then pleased with the afternoon tea. Can not fault them on anything. Will be visiting again soon
TheForkUserThe service was excellent and we didn’t have to wait for our drinks and the food was served pretty quickly too . The food was excellent as always
TheForkUserUsually come to the Worcester Park Toby Carvery for a pre Christmas meal and it was definitely busier than usual but service was pretty good. Our waitress Mel, was particularly good whilst balancing many other tables.
