The DoubleTree Resort is an excellent choice for a family-focused getaway with great amenities and service. However, if you're looking for a location with immediate access to George Town's city life and street food, its slightly secluded location may be a drawback.

lokasi hotel just nice. tp kalau nk cari restoren terdekat kena naik kereta. breakfast so so, tp service tiptop. tak dpt view beach sbb hotel dah fully booking. pool kanak just nice tp xdpt lawan shangrila sand, park royal, Hard rock. bantal terlalu mendap mybe bantal dah lama. n bathroom tiada bath tub

The pools are great. The kids love them. Just don’t bring or order food at pools, or the crows will never leave you alone.
The room we booked was very spacious. Perfect for family. From trip.com, it mentioned we might get a 3m extra large bed. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. It’s a 1.8m king sized bed.
A lot of different food at breakfast. But it’s quite crowded after 9.

This place would suit a traveller with the nice escape from the busy downtown. However, the room facility needs more upgrade. Hot water is not stable. Be careful to book a taxi in advance if you need to leave early in the morning, as grab is difficult to get in early time.

I had aveey good stay at Hilton Penang. But if there is any shuttle service to go to the beach will be very much appreciated.

Old hotel. Open air concept mostly.
Renovations were done about 10 years back, floor trap in shower chokes, have to take very short shower.
Pool is small.
Breakfast is adequate, but not superb.
Partial view of sea, and only if you stay higher floors and nearer beach side wing.

The check-in process was very slow despite the friendliness and service from the receptionist who was very polite and kind. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The food choices at breakfast were quite limited but worth it. And again, the service of the staff here was top-notch and very good, so well done and thank you to the hotel team for that.
