Wyndham Lijiang Yulong Hotel(Lijiang Railway Station)

The room in the package was cozily decorated, and the bedding was soft and comfortable for a good night's sleep, with no noise in the middle of the night. The breakfast offered a good variety and was satisfying. The bathing facilities were also clean. The entire stay, from accommodation to meals, was well-integrated and hassle-free, offering good value for money.

Traveling to Lijiang, I stayed at the Wyndham Lijiang. The location is convenient, right next to the train station and only about 20 minutes from the airport. My food delivery went to the wrong room, and the front desk staff helped bring it to me, which was a really nice touch of personalized service. Highly recommended!

The room was undoubtedly spacious, but overall, I was very unsatisfied. I checked into Wyndham close to 10 PM. If it had been earlier, I definitely would have canceled the booking for a room like this. Was the room on the 11th or 9th floor? There were at least 5 or 6 bugs flying around the room!! The room facilities looked grand but were actually simple and cheap… The entire hotel also smelled of cheap air freshener… The caulk around the sink was moldy… And breakfast was just awful. It looked like there were many options, but most of them weren't appetizing at all… Can you believe I didn't even get full at a buffet breakfast? Since I was only staying one night, I even tolerated not showering!! The facilities just felt so uncomfortable…

I had a very satisfying stay at this 5-diamond hotel! My experience in Lijiang this time was particularly comfortable. During my extended stay, I needed coffee, tea, fruits, and drinking water daily. After communicating with the front desk, they responded very quickly, and all my requests were promptly arranged. Our departure car was at 3 PM, and we requested a 2 PM late check-out, which the hotel kindly coordinated. The service was very thoughtful and human-centered. The staff were warm, attentive, and communication was smooth and efficient. The room environment was comfortable, and the overall details were well-executed. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Lijiang; everything about it gives you peace of mind. I will definitely choose this place first again on my next visit to Lijiang!

The Wyndham Hotel is a good choice as a stopover for those traveling to or from Shangri-La via Shanghai. Its location is excellent, directly across from the high-speed train station, and it's only about a 30-minute taxi ride to the airport. As a 3-star chain hotel, it's relatively new, but the room still had a fresh renovation smell, and there was a drain odor in the bathroom. The shower stall was super large, and the room itself was spacious, allowing me to spread out my luggage and clothes. On both my arrival and departure, I booked a snow mountain view room, but honestly, it was pointless. This time of year, there's a nine out of ten chance you won't see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the hotel window. The front desk staff were very good, providing thoughtful and attentive service. The breakfast buffet was also decent.

Our family drove to various attractions in Lijiang and were very satisfied with our stay at this five-diamond hotel. The parking lot had ample space, making it easy to load and unload luggage. There were plenty of EV charging stations, which was reassuring after a long drive. Our room was deeply cleaned daily, with spotless floors and surfaces. The room was spacious, allowing our family to rest without disturbing each other. The 24-hour laundry room was convenient for washing clothes dirtied from our outings, and the gym was great for a light workout. The staff also recommended less crowded sightseeing spots and were flexible with our check-out time based on our travel pace.

My stay here was great, definitely five stars. The front desk service was the biggest highlight – check-in was super fast. The room conditions were decent, and cleanliness was well-maintained. Breakfast was standard, good enough. Despite a few minor flaws, it's definitely worth recommending to everyone.
