YHA Sydney Central

I used the dormitory for my solo trip as a university student. It was great that the toilets, shower rooms, and washbasins were kept clean. Hand soap was provided, but there were no other amenities. Please bring your own bath towel, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. Despite that, the low price and very convenient location were excellent.

This is a great value-for-money accommodation in Sydney, especially for solo travelers! The location is excellent; right outside the door is the Haymarket light rail, and across the street is Central Station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. I was quite satisfied with my stay. You can't expect a hostel to have everything, and if you're socially anxious, it's best to bring your own hairdryer, otherwise going downstairs with wet hair can be quite embarrassing. If you turn right at the intersection outside, there are many bars further up. It's probably best not to walk that way late at night.

The environment and hygiene are very clean, and the location is also very convenient. You can take the train or bus right outside, and it's easy to walk to the Sydney Opera House. The room is quite spacious, and everyone has their own locker, but you need to bring your own lock.

The room was clean and tidy, and the public facilities were comprehensive. Most importantly, the location was incredibly convenient, right opposite the Central Station. Very satisfied!

The location is incredibly convenient, just a three to four-minute walk to the train/subway station, and the light rail stop is right outside – no need to walk more than a minute. Chinatown, QVB, the Opera House, and other attractions are all just one stop away or easily accessible along the line. The front desk staff was quite patient and helpful with directions. The bed was comfortable; I fell asleep instantly, and the soundproofing was decent. However, when staying in a hostel, you do have to put up with issues like roommates having different schedules.

The location is fantastic! The bathroom and toilet are clean. The bunk beds in the room have curtains, providing excellent privacy. The shared kitchen area was also well-maintained. There's a locker room available for luggage storage after check-out for a fee of $12. I could easily hear conversations from the hallway. However, with daily cleaning, I'd say it's a clean place overall.

The location is excellent, but the facilities are a bit old. I stayed during the Sydney Marathon, so the price was much higher, and it didn't feel like good value for money. It would be a better option if it were cheaper during regular times.
