On our recent trip to Essaouira my friend and I tried out 3 riads. I was very pleased that as it turned out we had saved the best for last. Chem Bleu is a real gem ran by ladies ( quite unusual for Morocco) and maybe as a result ran very efficiently! The riad itself has a lovely calm feel about it. Beautiful sea views with a wonderful breakfast served promptly on the terrace each morning. We loved our room and got the chance to look at other rooms so that we can select which one we might like next time, The ladies were very helpful and spoke good English. We plan to return next year but will stick to one riad. Chem Bleu.

My experience at Chems Bleu hotel was disappointing. The poor response from the reception staff was evident. Our requests were not responded to, and it seemed that the staff were not interested in meeting our needs. If you're thinking of staying at this hotel, be prepared to face some difficulties in getting the service you need. If you're looking for a hotel that provides good service, you may want to consider other options.

Riad très bien situé dans la médina. Tout est conforme aux photos du site, le riad est parfaitement bien tenu, ultra propre, et l'accueil est très agréable. Très bon petit déjeuner en terrasse. Merci à la responsable, à Fatima, Iassine, Sofiane et Nour, qui nous ont donné de bons conseils, toujours prêts à nous aider. Nous avons passé une super semaine début novembre 2025

Alojamiento muy bien situado, cerca del puerto y del zoco. En general muy limpio y tranquilo. El personal inmejorable, dispuesto en todo momento a atender dudas o necesidades, con una explicación detallada de Sofianne de los lugares interesantes de la ciudad. La habitación un poco pequeña pero suficiente para una noche. Sin ruidos y muy tranquila. La conexión wifi no llegaba, y solo había señal en zonas comunes. Desayuno completo y muy bien servido y presentado. Se tiene una muy buena estancia.

bonjour nous somme venu en mai l'appartement était magnifique propre l'emplacement rien a dire mais il y avait une famille qui habite je pense au rez-de-chaussée ils ont des enfants qui crient toute la journée c'était un peu difficile de se détendre et ils mettent de la musique sur haut-parleur a 9h du matin toute la journée c'était dérangeant on veut revenir le mois de septembre mais on hésite encore.

Riad situé sur les remparts (côté sud avec vue sur l'océan) ; proche d'un parking public gardé (70 dirhams pour la journée complète de 24h)... Ensuite rejoindre le riad à pied est affaire de sens de l'orientation (à 200 m de la porte - Bab - Marrakech) Au fond d'une impasse apparait le néon lumineux du Chems Bleu... et derrière la porte la cour intérieure classique d'un riad avec sa fontaine... Il reste à gravir les étages pour découvrir une chambre simple, mais propre et confortable aux fenêtres ouvertes sur la cour intérieure d'une part et sur l'extérieur d'autre part. SdB et WC non séparés. La localisation est excellente. Le pt déjeuner - assez frugal - est servi sur la terrasse..Comptez 65/70 € environ pour 1 nuit / 2 pax.
