Lunar Cappadocia Hotel

The hotel is almost at the top of the hill, so it's a bit tiring to carry luggage up and down the slopes. The hotel itself is a viewing platform, where you can watch hot air balloons in the morning. The hotel service is superb. We took an overnight bus to chase the hot air balloons, and they arranged an early check-in for us since a room was available. A tall staff member, or perhaps the owner, thoughtfully helped us carry our luggage into the room and even helped us load it into the car after check-out. I don't know his name, but he's a tall, big man. I only managed to get a photo of his back. I'm so grateful to him!

After a lot of searching, I chose ***** in Cappadocia and it was truly worth it. The staff were all very nice and attentive. Although the cave room was a bit damp, everything was maintained in excellent condition as much as possible. I slept very well for all three nights, and the whole town of Goreme was very chill with plenty of activities each day. I highly recommend staying at *****.

The hotel's hygiene, environment, and service are all excellent, highly recommended. We booked a family room, which is perfect for families with children. Watching the hot air balloons from the observation deck in the morning was also great. We originally wanted to book for two nights, but by the time we booked, only one night was available. The garden has many fruit trees, and there are seats outside each room, perfect for sitting outdoors and having a drink, very relaxing. The location is at the top of Goreme, but it's still very convenient to go down for meals, just a five or six-minute walk.

The hotel's location is a bit far from the town center and scenic spots, which isn't super convenient. However, the service was excellent, and the jacuzzi was a definite plus.

Everything about the hotel was great, except for the slow Wi-Fi. The environment was very clean, safe, and quiet. I hope the breakfast could be a bit more varied. The view from the terrace in the morning was amazing, and having a drink at the bar on the terrace at night was very chill.

An excellent hotel, with a fantastic room and a prime location. My room, 302, had a small balcony from which I could watch the hot air balloon sunrise at 5 AM. The room was incredibly clean, even the top of the wardrobe was spotless, and the sheets and towels were pure cotton. The hotel provides complimentary breakfast, and the staff member Osman offered exceptional service. He managed the entire restaurant by himself, yet still attended to every customer's needs. We asked for black tea three times, and he brought it each time. When we complimented the tea and asked about the brand, he patiently answered our questions. He even proactively asked if I wanted a fried egg and whether I preferred it sunny-side up or over easy. Overall, it was a perfectly wonderful and comfortable experience. I will definitely be back.

The hotel is built halfway up a mountain, and the rooftop bar offers a decent view of the surrounding landscape. Some rooms are carved directly into the mountain, giving them a bit of a northwestern cave dwelling feel, but made of stone. For those who haven't seen anything like it before, it's quite interesting. The only minor drawback is the slightly weaker ventilation, but otherwise it's fine. We arrived quite early due to an early morning flight, and our booked room type wasn't vacated yet. We tried for a complimentary upgrade but failed 😔. Being too tired, we had to settle for a lower-category room at the same price. The service was pretty good, especially the security guard uncle and the bar attendant, who were always smiling and greeting guests. Breakfast was quite localized, with mostly cold dishes and fewer Western options – there wasn't even toast, let alone any decent Chinese choices.

The room is quite spacious, and the courtyard environment is lovely, with many adorable cats. You can watch the hot air balloon sunrise right from the hotel terrace. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. It's located a short walk up a hill. On the way up, there's a small shop where the owner is super nice; he always gives out delicious little candies.
