Travelodge by Wyndham Powell

I’m not going to sugarcoat this. The motel is a bit out of the way, which is fine with me. There aren’t a lot of amenities, which is also fine with me. The thing that sets this Travelodge apart from other places is the PEOPLE! Scott is the owner and a great guy! The staff is AMERICAN, and incredibly friendly and accommodating. The price is less than competition in Cody, Wyoming about 20 miles closer to the area attractions, and I mean a lot less! I booked the room through Trip.com because of the extreme price difference, and ended up saving more than enough for an additional night, after rethinking our rushed plans. I would absolutely stay there again, and I highly recommend it for budget minded travelers.

I had not stayed at a Travelodge before so I wasn’t sure how it would be. My stay was very pleasant.

We arrived late, due to being distracted by animals on our way out of Yellowstone. The office was closed due to lack of help, but we called the number and were instructed on how to access our room. We had no issues finding and getting in. Upon entering we were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the room itself. We were not on top of each other trying to just get around the beds. The beds were cozy and had plenty of pillows, including a decorative body pillow that was perfect for relaxing against. We had everything we needed and the room seemed to be fairly clean as well. The location is convenient, our section of rooms was right behind the Maverik, which allowed for easy walking access. Definitely worth the price, especially if you don't want to stay in Cody due to $$$. It isn't too far to stay if you're on your way to/from Yellowstone/Bear Tooth/etc.

Ok… just wow! I stayed here in August (see my review below). They have done MAJOR renovations. This room was beautiful. Zero complaints. Staff was very nice. Will be back. (I am not sure if the entire place was remodeled but this section has been…. It’s the section behind the gas station).

Check in by Miss Billy was super cool.. room was huge, clean and recently renovated. Would defnitely stay there again!!

Older but clean and everything worked, beds were comfy, A/C worked, quiet property - we are happy and would recommend.
