Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World

The hotel is excellent. The breakfast was amazing. The staff deserve a 5-star rating. We had a family suite, which was very convenient for a family of three. It's located close to the main pedestrian street, with shops, restaurants, and access to the embankment. There are stunning city views from the restaurant and bar on the upper floors.

My stay at Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World was very comfortable overall. I'd especially like to mention Justin at the front desk – he was genuinely helpful, handled check-in efficiently, and even gave us a high-floor room when he saw I was with elderly parents and children. No fancy tricks, just a really thoughtful gesture. The executive lounge has a great atmosphere, quiet and peaceful, and watching the Nanjing Road scenery from there was very relaxing. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit.

Traveling with my family, choosing this hotel was a really good decision. Meeting Jackie was wonderful; she was incredibly thoughtful. Knowing we were a family, she arranged for us to be on the same floor early and even provided bar vouchers. The service was excellent, and the hotel's location is also very convenient.

The Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World is grand and spotless overall, with an unbeatable location. Oliver and Vanida provided gentle and professional service; the check-in process was smooth, and they patiently and thoroughly answered all my travel-related questions. They were friendly and considerate, and their service throughout was very patient. This stay was extremely comfortable and is highly recommended.

A wonderful hotel in an excellent location. It's surrounded by many shopping malls, a fantastic park with a huge green area, the Shanghai History Museum, cafes, and restaurants. The park has a pond with fish and turtles, and is very cozy and clean throughout. The hotel itself is large, clean, and the rooms are spacious. Breakfast is excellent, definitely 5-star. For children, there's porridge, nuts, chocolate spread, plenty of fruits, pastries, meat, and fish. There's also a Russian manager at the front desk, Polina, who is competent and pleasant. On the 8th floor, there's a lovely large swimming pool with varying depths. I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay.

The location is absolutely fantastic, right on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, and just a few steps from People's Square metro station, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. This is an older, established hotel, but it's been exceptionally well-maintained, so it doesn't feel dated or rundown at all. The front desk service was incredibly attentive; I had a dedicated person assisting me throughout, and they even upgraded me to a room with a Bund view. While the river view isn't extremely close, for this price point, it offers excellent value for money. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay and highly recommend it for anyone visiting downtown Shanghai!
