Dusit Thani Krabi Beach Resort

An absolutely fantastic holiday experience! This hotel is huge, boasting a private beach that stretches at least 600 meters. At high tide, the sea laps at the pine trees, and at low tide, the beach expands to a remarkable 200 meters wide. The sunsets and evening glow are simply mesmerizing. The beach is shaded by towering pine trees, where we sometimes spotted squirrels playing. There's also a rocky area on the beach, perfect for exploring at low tide. We found palm-sized swimming crabs and white sea cucumbers, and even tiny lionfish. A quick search on my phone (Doubao) revealed they were venomous – luckily, we didn't touch them! 😅 The hotel also features a mangrove forest, a lawn, and a lotus pond, where we frequently encountered large monitor lizards and troops of monkeys. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

The room was very spacious and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially loved the hotel's private beach – it was clean, not crowded, and felt very safe, with excellent facilities. I really enjoyed my time here; the staff were all incredibly nice and accommodating. Definitely worth another visit!

The soundproofing at the hotel was really poor. The foreign family next door was constantly noisy. I complained to the hotel multiple times, but received no feedback or proper resolution. On the last night, our whole family was woken up at 1 AM. I couldn't take it anymore and went out to check, only to find the three kids next door still running around. I had to talk to the parents directly to get them to quiet down. As for the food, I ate several meals at the hotel, and both the Thai food and hot pot buffet were very mediocre. I chose this hotel with the intention of just relaxing there, as it's far from the pier, activity areas, and night markets. However, it was a huge disappointment. For over 2000 per night, I'd advise caution.

I really loved the atmosphere at this hotel! The facilities are excellent, and it's a beautiful place, perfect for a romantic getaway with your sweetheart.
