Ramada Hong Kong Grand View

This hotel, located on Yang Wo Street in North Point, is one of the better options in the area. Downstairs, there's a bustling wet market, giving it a very authentic local vibe. The hotel is about twenty years old and has a good number of spacious rooms. The service is good, the cleanliness is satisfactory, and the air conditioning works very well. The location is super convenient, and it offers good value for money.

Every time I visit, I stay at Ramada. It's super convenient with bus and subway stations nearby. The hotel staff are always so kind to me. The room is spotless. There's a vending machine in the lobby on the ground floor where you can buy things like toothpaste. There's also a fridge in the room. Downstairs, there's a market and a fruit store, so you can find anything you need. I'm a bit of a **sensitive person, and I've stayed at this hotel multiple times without any strange occurrences, so even those who are easily spooked can feel safe here.

Our stay was truly awful. First off, the room itself was in terrible condition – a strong, unpleasant musty smell hit us as soon as we walked in, and we could see dampness and mold on the carpets and in the corners. The towels had stubborn stains that wouldn't wash out, making them completely unusable. Secondly, the front desk service was quite disappointing. When we initially asked for an extra towel, we were flat-out refused with the explanation, "it's one towel per person." After persistent discussion, they reluctantly brought one over, but it was clear they weren't happy about it. To top it all off, right downstairs from the hotel was a street market. The ground was slippery, cluttered with rubbish, and there was a constant bad odor when going in and out. The overall hygiene of the surrounding area was a serious concern. All in all, from cleanliness to service attitude and the neighborhood environment, everything was far below expectations. We definitely won't be staying here again.

The room was a bit dated, but the location is absolutely fantastic. It's super convenient for dining, shopping, enjoying Victoria Harbour views, and getting around. The younger staff were much more pleasant than the middle-aged female staff. The hotel manager, Zhang Jiaxing, provided professional and sincere service, which really made up for the unpleasant experience caused by the middle-aged female in charge.
